My partner (who is African American and prestigious doctor in or community) have patronized this establishment several times and have always purchased $ 500+ or more with every visit. When we walk in, they look up and then don’t even acknowledge our presence. When it comes to customer service, perhaps they need a refresher course.

This is a very old-​fashioned menswear store. Some of the clothes seem outdated or pricier than what they should be but then, I’m not familiar with men’s clothing brands that are considered more upscale, either. (I will say that two XLT tee-​shirts go for $ 27 and can be found cheaper on Amazon, as one example. My two cents would be to stick with the larger items for purchase here, e.g. suits, sweaters, pants, etc.)
They have regular sales on most or all of their items, including suits. The staff are knowledgeable and will help you with whatever you need.
I have purchased items as gifts and my fiancé has bought some suits here. I will continue to support this local store that has been in the community a very long time.

I had a short-​notice interview and I needed a suit that day. I’d always noticed this place downtown, so I stopped in.
The salesman was really great. His name was Bo and he wasn’t pushy about trying to make the sale. What he suggested was exactly the type of suit I had in mind, and I don’t think I could have picked the suit out if I had been left in the store on my own. It was a quick process too — didn’t take longer than half an hour. He even set me up with an appointment to get the suit altered.
I don’t know much about suits, but I liked this place. They helped me out, I got the suit for a reasonable price, and they were very friendly. For that I give them 5 stars.

Nice relaxed menswear store. Nothing terribly fashionable, but a good selection of more classical things that never really go out of fashion. Moderate prices… so you won’t see any Kiton or Zegna or anything. (Not that you see very many people wearing those brands around here anyway.)
And I believe they’re the only place in town that has Allen Edmonds shoes. Just like the store, they’re not flashy, but just what you need for a wedding, funeral, or job interview. Or just wearing to work every day, if you want to look well-​heeled, so to speak.
