Microtel Inn

If you like the constant smell of stale ass weed and old piss, this is the hotel for you! It should be a lot cheaper than what we paid for this room. I saw somebody else’s hair in the shower and what looked like poop on the shower curtain. Stay somewhere else of you can. We had a wedding to attend this weekend and unfortunately it was the same weekend as U of I’s homecoming. Nothing else was available. Boooooooooooooo to this hotel.

DO NOT! I REPEAT! DO NOT GO TO THIS SHADY, NASTY HOTEL.
I got a room here a few days ago and it was the worse thing I’ve ever done. First, I go to the counter & there’s this weird looking white girl running her mouth on the phone about her boyfriend problems, didn’t acknowledge me until she was finished with her convo. I paid $ 55.50 for a tiny room. I really didn’t care I just wanted some sleep. Anyway I had the room for about 4 hrs which I was barely in b/​c I was still running errands. I tried watching tv but next door was playing Mexican music so loud I couldn’t hear… After taking a bath I layed down on the bed then I looked on the sheets & there was blood. Not my blood! I get so disgusted I call down to the desk AGAIN for the second time. I tell the guy what I seen & he gets defensive. He offers me another room but at this point (complaining twice & having my face on bloody sheets) I didn’t want to stay. I ask for my money back or half & he says only 10%. no! I asked to speak to a manager he say no he’ll call her & she’ll get back to me in 48 hrs & he’s really rude at this point. This lady eilen calls me I tell her everything & she gets defensive & she says she «investigated» everything & basically the blood had to come from me & there’s make-​up on the pillows. I have never in my life worn make-​up EVER! I don’t own make-​up & I’m pissed off these people are this rude & try to blame their nasty problems on customers. She won’t even give me Corp. Number or an email because they dont won’t to deal with people like me. She let those words come out her mouth to a customer. I will never as long as I live here stay at this hotel or let anyone I know go here

DO NOT DO NOT DO NOTTT!!! I paid the same rate (because EVERYTHING else was booked this particular weekend) as I would at a nicer hotel (Hilton, Embassy Suites etc.) however was DISGUSTED by this place. I’m an outdoorsy person who can handle a little dirt and grim now and again, but not when it’s on my hotel bed. We were forced to bring our «picnic blanket» in from the car to sleep on because the place was that gross. I also opted to go 3 days without showering rather than step foot in that gross bathroom.
Please save your money and do ANYTHING other than stay here. Not to mention it’s located RIGHT off the highway with nothing else but a gas station and McDonalds within a 3 mile radius. GROSS GROSS GROSS!
