I brought my wedding dress in at the end of November and received it within a few weeks. I required many alterations: the boned bodice had to be taken in over an inch on both sides, I had a sash sewn on, a bussel put in, and all of the crinoline in the dress removed. The belt was not quite in the right place so she re-did that part for no extra charge. The whole job only cost me $ 110 which, for a wedding dress, is a great and reasonable price. She did a great job in each aspect. She also altered one of the groomsmen’s suit jacket and pants for only $ 50($ 25 per piece). The suit was a mess — he was swimming in it! Now the suit fits like a glove and he looks very handsome. I highly recommend this business and will continue to bring my clothes here.

I’ve taken many pants and dresses here to be altered down a size. I have been very happy with their work, quick service and reasonable prices.

Came in on a Monday and asked Anna to hem 2 very different skirts and 1 dress. I requested she rush it because I needed them by ASAP. She said it’d be ready by Thursday, but got a call Wednesday saying they were ready. Tried them on and they fit perfectly. Very impressed! $ 60, a bit pricy I’d say, but she did do it in 2 days…

First rate work on an unusual job! Although their business seems to be mostly bridal and dress alterations, I brought in a set of Gore-Tex«foulies»(heavy foul-weather gear used on sailboats) to have the torn out pockets replaced with heavier material. She didn’t have the material(I supplied that) but did a splendid job in about ten days for $ 50, saving me hundreds(as well as lost tools or getting soaked on deck at night) and having to get this done in Chicago or on the East Coast. Update: My wife has had several small jobs done there and as above service and quality of work has been superb.

I take all my alterations here. They do a nice job, everything is finished neatly, correctly, and on time. I also appreciate that they’ll tell me when I want something altered that won’t turn out well. I wanted to let out a hem on a pair of pants and they explained that the crease would still be left and it wouldn’t look nice. I do think they’re a little pricey, thus the 3 star rating, but they do nice work.

I took a pair of jeans here to be altered… I needed them a couple days early because I was going out of town. They said that would be no problem, but when I showed up on Friday, they hadn’t done my pants yet. I almost freaked out, but not as badly as they did. They were very apologetic and they hemmed my pants immediately. I think I waited a total of 5 minutes. So, I think I will give them another try given how promptly and satisfactorily they fixed their mistake.
