I was going to this place for years before I realized there were much better places out there. It isn’t clean and the owner does the worst nails and pedicures. Her brother filed my nail down to the skin! She told me to give him a second chance and I did and it was still bad. I was told to lay on a cot for my eyebrows and it had a sheet on it. The person who was on there before me was all sweaty! I refused to lay on it. Like getting in someone’s bed. I would rather NOT get my nails and toes done than to ever go back there. There should be a zero rating.

I’ll admit I can’t speak for the same services the other Unilocalers got, I’ve only ever had mani/pedi, though usually just a pedi. My wife and I been here several times and were very happy every time. Maybe they got new staff in the 3 years since the last review?
Anyway, the packages are very reasonably priced, the massages were great, and the owner brought me some delicious tea as well. I have no problem recommending this to my friends. My guy friends just look at me funny when I do so, until they get a pedicure themselves.

Awful!!! Worst nail service I have ever had. Not to mention the open chemicals, food all over, and unsanitary wax station. They didn’t give what we asked for, ignored my children and the fact that they were on the list for paints as well. Extremely unprofessional.

I am very disappointed in the pedicure I received today. The whole experience was rushed, which made me feel very uncomfortable. I was looking forward to a relaxing experience & it did not happen. I did not receive a foot massage & the whole experience was painful, even though not a lot was done. This lady (the owner) had an overall rough touch. I had never had a pedicure before this & was looking forward to getting all the dead skin & callouses removed, as I am going on a cruise next week. I was in the chair for 15 min tops & my feet were in the exact same condition leaving as they were when I walked in. I am so glad I opted out of paying the additional $ 8 for a manicure that they kept trying to push on me. I am positive that I will NEVER be back to this place.

I think I was his first client. He had nail polish all over his hands and my toes. I literally started laughing because it was so absurdly bad. There was no foot or leg massage and he just seemed plain confused the entire time. He put the wrong things on the wrong places at the wrong time… like i am genuinely puzzled as to how this is his job… I have never written a Unilocal review but this was the worst pedicure I have ever had in my entire life.

I had the very same experience as Sarah. I will NEVER go back to this place. Got my a french mani on a Saturday and my nail… no ACRYLIC nail popped off on Tuesday!!! WHAT?! The service was so bad and they seemed more interested in people coming into the store than the folks who were sitting there being helped already!
Three words DON;T GO HERE!!!

First time I went to #1 Nails I got my eyebrows done and it was good. They got wax in my hair but my eyebrows were straight so I said whatever. Went back in Sat 2÷11÷12 and got a pedicure and eyebrow wax. Worst EVER! They rushed threw my pedicure and didnt even do everything you usually get with a pedicure. Then I got my brows waxed and they are crooked and they got wax in my hair again! Lots! This time I told them nicely and she put some oil in my hair (very rough) while yelling in Chinese. NOT happy at all prolly will not go back!
My girlfriend was with me during this visit and got some acrylic nails. They asked her dozens of times if she wanted a design and she said no. They painted a design on one nail and said see cute she said yes its cute so they painted all and charged her extra without telling her! Her nails stick out and are uneven lengths. She also got her brow waxed and they also got wax in her hair! So sad to say she will not be going back either!

I came to Number 1 nails for the first time on a really busy saturday, and can honestly say I will never return back there. First of all, the building did not have air conditioning, so on a hot spring day, it was very unpleasant and uncomfortable inside. The individual that helped my friend and I check in was very unprofessional and casual, and left us standing at the front desk (if you could even call it that) confused, and wanting to leave. When we were finally sat down to begin our pedicures, the water used to soak our feet was ice cold. They rushed through all of the foot grooming we both very much looked forward to, and even cut my toe open when cutting my cuticles. After all of that was done, they moved us out of our comfortable massage chairs, to awful desk chairs where the lady squatted down on the floor and threw on the nail polish. We were supposed to stay for manicures, but paid for our pedicures and got the heck out of there.
DO NOT GO THERE!
