I really love this place. Everything, from the menu to the décor, seems very well thought out, and very well articulated. The prices are good, the coffee is great, and the atmosphere beats any other coffee house in C-U. Awesome spot to go and get some wifi and focus.

Awesome little café! Tons of drinks to choose from, I recommend the Affogato(1 size). Serving sizes in general are a little small(8 oz small, 12 oz medium, 16 oz large), but the drinks themselves are really nice. Very cozy inside.

I heard good things about Snow Meets Coffee, and it seemed like a lovely way to end a Saturday night so we popped in to check it out. The interior is very cute and is a simple/modern style that reminded me of being on campus. The menu was HUGE! You can choose from shaved ice cream ‘snow’ in SEVERAL different flavors, both milk-based and coconut milk-based, and of course they have a variety of different coffee, tea, and bubble tea options as well. Since I am a HUGE fan of shave ice done the right way, I decided my first try here HAD to be the snow. The problem was, it all looked good. How was I to choose? Fortunately, the staff was super friendly and helpful. I tried the tiramisu snow with strawberry popping balls and chocolate chips with a drizzle of sweetened condensed milk(because I always get sweetened condensed milk on my shave ice in Hawaii!) and it was fantastic. The texture was light and airy and it was nice because it wasn’t overly sweet. I’m not a big ice cream fan – not that I dislike it, but I’m just not usually the person saying, «Hey – let’s go get ice cream!» However, I can see that changing if we are talking about snow. This stuff was really more along my tastes. They offer the snow in two different sizes, and they look like big ol’ honkin’ cups that would be too much, but since it is shaved, it turns out to be just right. That being said, the next time I come here… I’m so going for the lavender bubble tea. That sounds amazing!

My boyfriend and I came here after having dinner. I’d heard about it from friends so we decided to stop by for some snow. I got a pineapple snow with rainbow mochi and condensed milk drizzle. It was really lovely. Light and just perfect for an after dinner dessert. We will definitely be back.

Great bingsu and milk tea, but their flavored bubble tea isn’t that good and they skimp on condensed milk. I’ve been here twice and ordered vanilla bingsu and green tea bubble tea. The bingsu was super good, especially with chewy rainbow mochi and condensed milk on top. It’s halfway between shaved ice and ice cream, shaved so thinly that you can see the layers while you eat. But while usually bingsu is drenched in condensed milk, this place only gives a few squirts. Their bubble milk tea is also really good — it seems like they use real tea as opposed to some syrup. This makes the tea taste milder, bringing out the sweetness of the boba. Delicious. The other flavors, though, aren’t so good. The green tea flavored one tasted kind of sandy, like they put in matcha powder and it didn’t dissolve completely. I can’t comment on their coffee, but give this place a try for dessert or a snack. Bingsu in winter? Ohh yeah.

Usually when I visit a dessert + coffee place one of those things turn out to be a disappointment. Not here though! The snow Bing was light, fluffy and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. On a chalkboard near the register it says«Coffee that doesn’t suck» well, they mean it. I got the caramel latte which was flavorful and strong. Apart from the food the décor is well done and the employees are super sweet and friendly.

A great little gem hidden downtown Champaign. The snow is fantastic shaved, all natural, ice cream topped with the customers choice of topping and drizzle; way better than normal ice cream or even bingsoo. The drinks here include a decent choice of coffees*, teas and milk tea. This would be a cool place to take a date, children or anyone who enjoys ice cream. *As a coffee snob I would not recommend this place for just coffee as it is just okay.

I came here to meet a friend and found a strange place awaiting me. The atmosphere is lovely, the decoration is beautiful, the attitudes cheery. The also have the absolute best lavender milk-tea /bubble tea I’ve ever had, and I’ve had lots of lavender milk teas in my time. The balance is simply divine. 5⁄5 will be here every day.

I tried the iced lavender bubble tea and my husband has the mango bubble tea. Both were delicious, on the sweeter side. The texture of the tapioca pearls was just right. Overall good first experience. The décor was super cute and the staff was friendly and quick. I think since they have been open for a month now, things seem to be running smoothly. Can’t wait to go back and try the black sesame snow. This is a nice alternative to Cocomero or Café Bene, which are difficult to get to sometimes if you live off campus.

They have done really well with the interiors. Ice creams are great and so is the coffee. Definitely one of my favorite coffee spots to hang out at in this town.

Great place had a really good time playing their old school board games like connect 4! My girlfriend and I got their mango dessert with jelly toppings. Delicious! Really would recommend to check out at least once because they really put a great effort into the atmosphere/food. Also for my girlfriend’s coffee they put a nice touch and wrote her name into it! On top of that the coffee was great :)

I ordered a cappuccino and chocolate muffin here on Opening Day, 12÷4÷15. Both were delicious and the muffin was warm, fresh, and gooey. The cappuccino was huge! The atmosphere of this coffee shop is fun, but it’s also a great place to post up with your computer and use the WiFi to get work done. Highly recommended.

I work very close by and love not even needing to leave my block to get a great cup of coffee and maybe something sweet. Coffee is solid and has lots of different options. Cold brew is my favorite! Word on the street is they may be getting a nitro brew set up. Snow Bing is amazing! Literally the best ice cream variety I can imagine. There are signs up on the walls saying its low calorie. If that’s true, I’m hooked. If you’re lactose intolerant, the mango is awesome, if not the coffee snow is the way to go. They seem to be learning stuff still, but they only opened officially this week so I’m not judging. Interior is nice, clean and comfortable. Usually playing some soothing music at a nice volume. Everything just seems incredibly well planned out and intentional. I can’t wait to see what they come up with next!

The interior is really inviting and both staff members were polite and helpful in offering flavor combinations. I got a medium coffee snow with condensed milk and coconut and it was suuuuuper tasty! You should give that combo a try, I’m pretty proud of it. ANYWAY, it is kind of expensive given the serving size, but the unique texture and flavors make up for it.

I went to Snow Meets Coffee over the Festival of Lights night. I went there to support the new local business and to receive my free cookie. The atmosphere is modern and cute. They are still working on the chalkboard wall, but I know it will turn out lovely. There was a ½ off hot chocolate drink sale for the night. My main Unilocaler and I went because we went to the parade together. We both bought small hot chocolates. The wait was about 5 minutes. Since it was a new place, the staff is still learning the ropes to working together as a team. I picked the m&m cookie as my free cookie. The hot chocolate tasted like they had used old milk. The flavor of it was was unpalatable and there was barely any chocolate flavor. I threw it away after I drank half. The cookie seemed like it was a day or so old too. However, I am looking forward to trying their ice cream and baked goods. I just know Snow Meets Coffee’s hot chocolate is not worth buying. I will come again to see what new things they have come up with.

I tried a few different flavors previously and i tried mango this time with crushed wafers and coconut flakes. I think mango tastes just as good without any toppings. Thumbs up

Hands down the best dessert in town. Love the shaved ice. Asked about expresso, and it looks like that will be here in the near future. Can’t wait!
