I hate to admit it, but I really do prefer the chains when it comes to coffee. But I was in the neighborhood so I thought I’d stop in to Bean Buddy & give it a try. I was completely shocked — in a good way! — by the prices. I ordered a 12oz (small) Iced Caramel Latte Macchiato and with tax my total was $ 1.79! Hardly seems believable, does it?! The drink itself was so-​so. It wasn’t very cold nor was there enough ice in the drink to make it cold. The coffee overpowered the drink & I could hardly taste any of the caramel flavoring. I kept detecting a hint of something that tasted like splenda (ick). Overall, I think I would go back & give it another try, expecially for a $ 1.79
