Caribou Coffee

Hot and cold at this Caribou. The coffee is the same quality as every other Caribou location (get there early If you want yogurt parfait). If you want your favorite beverage, you won’t be sad you went.
But the service and speed are the inconsistent factors. Some days, I am through the drive-​thru with my order in no time. And others? Well, I have time to sit and write this review.

Afternoon service was subpar. No one greeted the customers as they walked in, nor did they acknowledge them standing at the register. Drinks at this location are always good, and people are usually friendly, but if you’re short staffed during the afternoon, it shows. Service for two small drinks was very slow and the person at the register was less than pleasant.
Location is clean, and plenty of seating for those who are here for meetings, homework, or just to relax.

This is my go to Caribou. I feel bad they have no review. I guess people in Champlin doesn’t write review except me because this Caribou is constantly busy. Every time I was in a hurry, there’s usually always a long ass line for the drive thru. Dangit! It’s like Murphy’s law.
This Caribou is decent, fast, and consistent. I like my milk chocolate mocha the best from here. It usually is pretty consistent at every visit. When I go to a different one, I often make face like I got a laxative instead of chocolate. Okay, not that bad. However, the flavor varied depending on whose hands are making it. I happen to love the hands of the employees here. Those hands make good milk chocolate mocha that puts a smile on my face instead of a scowl. They also consistently put the bean on my cup. I really don’t care for the beans. I wish they do forget it. It’s too hard to tell them I don’t want it though. I ended up eating chocolate covered coffee bean more than I ever care to. But there are worse problems in this world compared to being force fed those beans. Like, my right boob is bigger than my left. It is far much worse issue.
If I want to spend over $ 4 on a small cup of coffee, I sure would be spending it here. I am freaking hooked on that milk chocolate mocha. Like a fish, I’m all tangled in the fishermen’s net and can’t wiggle myself out until I succumbed to accept the addiction. If I am out of town and there’s no Caribou around, I’m turning from a nice clown fish to a piranha drinking Starbucks. Or should I say seahorse? Oh. I had to look it up, but I guess she looks more like a mermaid. Whatever.
Not much choice on the road for a fine cup of joe. However, I really do enjoy my Caribou mocha and this Champlin location rocks! You know why? Because I said so since I own this business page it looks like. After 20 some check ins, you have to take my words for it.
