Butcher Block Meats

Purchased sirloin steaks, put on the grill, melt in your mouth. Roast in crock pot right now and smells wonderful. Beef is grass fed and is unbelievable. Will be purchasing much more from them in the future. Waiting to put the pork chops on the grill tomorrow!

Tried this for the first time when we had family in town. We needed stroganoff meat. My recipe called for a cheaper cut of meat than they had on display but they did bring some from the back and cut it perfectly for stroganoff. It tasted fabulous.

Placed order to pick up on Christmas eve day and it was ready and waiting! Baseball top sirloin is more than enough for one person. The steaks were great each about 12 Oz and 1 inch thick very tender and tasty. Using Groupon made it even a better deal. I will go back.

Found out about Butcher Block Meats through Groupon. Awesome meat! Everything I have tried from the Grillmaster package has been fantastic. A super bargain! Such a good deal, I bought one for my daughter and son-​in-​law. I hope they enjoy it as much as I do!

The quality here is superb. Everything I have grilled from this place was so flavorful and delicious. I beg everyone in Chandler to get their meats here so they stay open. I’ve tried many cuts and also the burgers. I’ve been more than happy with all of it.

Wanted to try a new butcher shop. Tim was so nice. Helped me pick out some great ribeye steaks. Love this shop super nice and clean. Got a little busy and had plenty of help. Offered helpful advice. It is well worth trying. Don’t miss out on those ribeye fantastic.

We never go anywhere else for our meat. So glad you are in the neighborhood! A little on the expensive side (otherwise would be 5 stars) but the Ribeye steaks are great for special occasions! Marinate and grill and they cut like butter. Great taste, great quality!

Where’s the Butcher in butcher shop. Not even close to what I would consider a butcher shop. A real butcher shop cuts all their meat in the back. Don’t think there was even a saw in the back. USDA prime meat. All meat is stamped USDA. The question is where it’s from and what the beef is fed. Maybe I’m used to something a little different. Pricey as well. Sorry… Won’t be back

The selection is limited. Bought a cut on wed 2 days later was black brown and smelled spoiled. Asked if they could do a meat for us and they don’t do it there. I get that it may not be common but a true butcher can get it done even if it meant us coming back. This isn’t a true butcher it’s more of a general store that sells meat. We will be looking for a TRUE butcher like we have had in the past. Sorry had to be honest.

We love this place. Super nice people, great products. Try the linguisa and the Polish sausage sometime.

We’ve been buying meats here with the Groupon and Living Social deals since they first opened. Great deal! I love, love, love the Hanger Steaks which you can not find locally. I’ve had their Rib Eye, bone in and boneless, the boneless NY Strip and of course my favorite Hanger Steak. This past visit I did purchase some sausages to try that were not included in the coupon deal, after reading great reviews on them. The sausages were fantastic! Service has always been excellent and quality of meats have been excellent.

Beware… the groupon has SO many stipulations that are not spelled out in the «fine print». Three times in this place with multiple «lies». I will eat my $ 30.00 groupon before darkening their doorstep again. I think there are only 4 cuts of over priced meat you can buy. The same quality of prime rib at butcher block verses Costco. $ 19.99 at butcher block and $ 8.99 at Costco. Hummmmm. Let me think about that one. Costco will cut to your desired weight. Can’t buy ANY pork or ribs with the groupon. God forbid you would go to the «other» case of offerings like the hot dogs. Those aren’t groupon either. Tim sucks. The place sucks. The «corporate» web site won’t let you access it. Pretty pathetic. $ 30.00 down the drain… never been burned by groupon before. Too bad corporate doesn’t want to hear about their franchisees. Can you say undercover boss???

Store is VERY clean but staff are surly and haven’t learned to say «may. I help you». I thought my presence was annoying them. When I first walked in I had my groupon in hand and was browsing the freezer. There’s cool stuff in there ! The guy behind the counter said «groupon doesn’t work for the freezer» I said: ok but this is my first visit and I want to see what you have.
He said the groupon was only good for prime beef in certain rows in the cooler. There were a few other ppl looking at the prime beef so I looked at the sausages. Again the guy said: it’s not good over there either.
Just looking man. Just looking.
When I made it to the prime beef counter I had already decided what I wanted. I looked up for help and the girl was blankly staring at me … Not really making eye contact… More like staring past me. Bizarre. I asked her if she could help me. Her response was «well, what do you want » SERIOUSLY? Sorry I bothered you princess.
We just moved to Chandler. Groupon has helped us discover a lot of places We never would have found on our own. I think this place was a fail. I’ll know when I try the meat but there’s a lot of redemption that needs to happen to make up for the horrible customer service

The only reason I’m not giving them all 5 stars is the fact that they are little pricy. But, you get what you pay for here. The quality of the meat has been good in the 5 – 6 times I have gone here. Great place to grab some steaks or burgers for a party.
My favorite is their beef jerky. And the staff is always friendly. Watch out if you buy a groupon, only works on prime meat. Read the fine print!
But yes, great butcher shop. Next time you are celebrating or having a party, head on over and your guests will be nothing but impressed.

Their bacon is AWESOME! And less expensive than the stuff the grocery stores sell. ;)

Picked up steaks and salmon for a family get together, everyone raved about how good dinner was. We go there all the time but I think they will have some new customers after our dinner last night.

Made my first trip to Butcher Block Meats in order to get some quality meats for a get together. Tim was really nice along with all the other employees. The cuts of meat they had were quality (I grabbed some pork and ribeye). The only thing keeping this place from getting 5 stars is the price tag. I can grab a quality cut of USDA prime ribeye for about 14.99 a pound at Costco whereas it costs 19.99 here… For smaller amounts of meat I’d go here for convenience but if I’m looking for larger amounts and a better price I’d go Costco. Now the one exception is for specialized cuts like Hanger which Costco does not carry. All in all a good experience but still can’t quite be my goto place for all my meat needs. If their prices would come down a bit more, they’d even beat out Costco in my opinion.

We tried the bacon, ground beef and a number of different sausages. Everything was excellent. The bacon in particular is the best I’ve found.

We have tried the tender, juicy, delicious steaks, brats, bacon burgers, pork chops and some flavorful elk steaks. All very fresh and tasty. Definitely worth a few extra dollars to know the meat will be perfect. I haven’t tried the lunch meat or cheeses but looks good too!
Also, have been feeding my dogs the meat trimmings (cooked up with some of the veggies they sell, brown rice and an egg). Much healthier than processed dog food. They also love the raw marrow beef bones. Keeps them happy for hours.
Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Family owned business. Very clean. Now that I’ve been spoiled by having top of the line meat products to choose from, I can’t imagine going back to grocery store quality. Check out their specials and bonus programs too for extra savings.

When I saw that this place was opening soon I was super excited, since it’s 5 min from my house. I’ve been here twice and each time was great. The first time I picked up some NY strip, a tri tip, some sausages and the Santa Maria seasoning they sell. The sausages were good, strips were great, and the tri tip was fantastic! I did the strips and sausages on my grill, and the tri tip on my smoker. The second time around I got the petite sirloin, butterfly pork chops, and beer brats. Everything was excellent! I’ll be back this week for a third time, and I’m pretty sure I’ll become a regular. Be sure to sign up for their e-​mail coupons, and they give a 10% discount when paying with cash. Also everyone in there has been super friendly too. Great place so far!
