We were very pleased with the service we received from Croffoot. Kirk diagnosed the problems with our a/​c system and completed the repairs in a timely manner. The great customer service continued when we received a follow-​up call, just to make sure everything was still running smoothly. All I can say about these guys is they are absolutely the best company I have dealt with in a long long time! They came and bailed me out after a Home Depot contractor gave me a repair quote that was so unreasonable I thought I was going to get sick! Kirk showed up at my house on a weekend when I wasn’t even home and had my system running before I got back form a short trip out of town. He then came back the next week to check up on the system when I was home and has yet to take any money until he is sure the unit is working up to my satisfaction. Called Croffoot after waking up to No A/​C. They promptly returned our call and scheduled to come out same day (heading into record heat weekend). Prior to showing up I received a call the technician was running ahead of schedule and could be there an hour early if I was available (when was the last you heard that?). Kirk arrived and promptly diagnosed and fixed the issue. The A/​C was up and running shortly after arrival. Very professional, prompt, and reasonably priced. What else are you looking for? Will use Croffoot for all future needs.

There is no faster, more dependable, reliable or more knowledgeable AC service in the valley than Croffoot Heating and Air Conditioning. For the 2^nd time in 2 years, I’ve had a bad capacitor, (that little silver canister on the back of the compressor outside the house) go out on 2 separate units in the heat of summer. You know when that goes out, because suddenly the air is blowing, but it keeps getting hotter. The first time was literally on the 4^th OF JULY, when I had a houseful of weekend guests, the worst timing ever! Kirk showed up within an hour and had the problem fixed in minutes, since he was prepared enough to have the part on hand. This year, it happened again, and he showed up even faster, knowing what the problem already was from Susie’s phone triage.

We selected Croffoot Heating & AC to determine why the back part our house was not getting much air, and to service the heating unit. Our initial contact was via email and Susie was very prompt in responding (a good sign). Kirk serviced our heating unit and determined our problem was due to faulty duct work. Shortly thereafter Kirk came back and made the necessary repairs, and we clearly have more air going to the back part of the house — Yea!
Prior to both of Kirk’s on-​time visits, Susie called beforehand to let us know he was on his way (a greatly appreciated touch). When Kirk was finished he told us that the ducting made need re-​balancing in the summer months, and that he would do it for no charge — and that Susie will be following up on this (which I have no doubt). He also offered suggestions on how to improve our AC’s efficiency in the summer months.
Kirk is punctual, neat, very personable, and CLEARLY knows what he is doing. Susie was very friendly, efficient and courteous. If they ever decide to give up the Heating & AC business they should go into the consulting business because this is the way things should be done!
