Oh yeah! That’s the stuff dreams are made of. Well, that and Adam Baldwin(not one of the douchy Baldwin brothers, BTW). But I digress. Gelato is sort of in-between ice cream and custard, super rich and strongly flavored with a rainbow of delicious possibilities. Can’t decide? They’ll give you a sample(or six). Really can’t decide? You can get two flavors in the same dish, three in the larger size. Although the«just right» size looks tiny, its about all I can do to finish it. Like I said, its super rich. You don’t need much to get your fix. I like the salted caramel, butterscotch, raspberry, strawberry, chocolate. I pretty much like all of it. They have tons of choices, some are standard offerings, others are special batches, one-offs, or seasonal. Everything is great, the toughest part is choosing what you want. I don’t know the calorie count or the points, and I don’t care. I wouldn’t come every day, though. I highly recommend it as your weekly treat after a long stressful work week(or any other time, really). You won’t regret it!

One of my favorite Gelato places. There are several chocolates to choose from. They sometimes have no sugar added chocolate(my favorite). The lemon one is great if you like s strong lemon flavor. Flavors added can be strong(e.g. chili chocolate has an afterkick of spice that is very strong, same with mint chocolate). The gelatos can be on the sweet side but you can taste several to see what you like. They have more traditional flavors fruit flavors, typical combos like rocky road, etc. and some more unusual ones. I like it better than the places I have gone to in Scottsdale that have very unusual flavors like lavender. If you are looking for an ice cream, check this place out instead.

I was responsible for planning my daughter’s high school prom. So, 3 days before prom I email all of the vendors to confirm their arrival date/time, and finalize costs, and I learned from my original gelato vendor that there was a minimum order payable, regardless of how many people I would be feeding. This amounted to over $ 200 in costs, that would essential melt away… pun intended.(I did not originally source that vendor, so did not have the contract terms) My heart is racing, I’m starting to really stress out thinking what am I going to do, how can I solve this 2 days before prom! Enter, Gelato 64. I didn’t hold out much hope for them having availability on a Friday night just two days away, but I thought«What do I have to lose?», and so I picked up the phone and called. Miracle of miracle, Gelato 64 was not only able to cater the prom, but as their minimum order was half of the other gelato company’s minimum, I ended up saving that $ 200.00! Janelle was a pleasure to work with, making this last minute change feel very stress free and seamless. Prom was beautiful, the gelato was delicious, and the kids loved it!

It’s close, clean, delicious, and open until 10pm! That’s 5 stars in my book. I love all things peanut butter and chocolate, so when the guy working suggested peanut butter Oreo, why not? I now have a new favorite dessert! Thanks, guy. They also have a lot of other flavors, some made with milk and some with water. You can try as many as you’d like, which my stepdaughter gladly did even after she had her bowl filled and clearly wasn’t buying any more. We will be back. :-)

I’ve been to this spot a couple of times. I have to say on this visit(at around 4pm on a Sunday) there were a lot of empty containers some I’m guessing all 64 were not represented. I had the turtle and peanut butter in a homemade waffle cone… delish! Service has always been friendly and helpful and this was the case today as well. If I’m in the area, I would definitely stop by again, even though there weren’t 64 flavors, there was enough of a variety for me to find something that I liked.

Love Gelato 64! They have a great selection of flavors. Grapefruit and pineapple are some of my favorites. I think the fact that they allow you to combine different flavors makes them better than a lot of their competitors. So good! Each time I’ve been there, the staff have offered great options for different combinations and I have never been disappointed.

Hello Daniel, I appreciate your response to my in-depth review. I am amending my review from 1 star to 2 stars because it is the Holiday season and I feel bad being your very first 1 star review! However, I want you to know that I COUNTED all of the flavors in your two cases and you did NOT have 48 flavors at 3:30 pm on December 21st. You had exactly 44 flavors available. Perhaps you need to ask your employee why there were only 44 flavors??? Tell me, WHY is Frost able to make their delicious waffle cones twice a day WITHOUT large gaping holes in the bottom of their cone and are also able to add a sanitary paper wrapper? Maybe you need to ask them how they do it? I’ve eaten gelato in Rome, Paris and Tokyo, to name a few … and I’ve NEVER seen a large hole in the bottom of ANY cone before! You have a problem with quality control and yet you don’t even seem to care?! As for the gummy worm found in my mud pie chocolate gelato, why don’t you RENAME it: «There’s a WORM in my pie!» as that seems more fitting. LOL

We found this business thanks to Unilocal(of course) because we wanted Gelato but didn’t feel like driving to our normal place some miles away. We were pleasantly surprised. A good variety of flavors and friendly service. They didn’t have many customers that night so I hope they make it as we’d be back if we are in the area again.

It’s all right. I’ve had better gelato in other local places. Los if flavors to choose from. The day I was there they ran out of covers and bags… Made it hard to transport 3 containers in the car. I’d probably not go back often. Definitely wouldn’t go out of my way to go there. Maybe if I was in the neighborhood at Lee Lee’s or dim sum and dying for it.

Sorry G-64 but I don’t like your product. Stopping next door the other evening, to get my V-craving on, I decided to randomly pop in here and check it out. I asked one of the patrons what she thought about the place and she said it was her favorite place for gelato. I sample the tiramisu and the salted caramel. They taste okay, but I’m not all that impressed, but I buy a pint anyway for me and a few friends. We pop it open later in the evening, only to realize that with each passing spoonful, the flavor is pretty insipid and nothing like Italian gelato, except for the creaminess. Oh well. No big deal. At any rate, I gave it a whirl and glad I did but I won’t be going back.

I would recommend this to anyone in the chandler area. They change their gelato flavors often and customer service is spot on. Next time I will try their shakes.

I love that you can choose two flavors for a small! Peppermint patty was very tasty and I love the dark chocolate peppermint combo. Too bad it didn’t have little York patties mixed in. The Grasshopper was also very good, and is basically mint chip with crushed Oreos mixed in. It’s definitely the sweeter of the two. The waffle cone chip was a tad stale and very unimpressive. With only two workers for the night crowd, I didn’t feel like it was prudent(now was I encouraged) to ask for any flavor samples. Like most gelato places, it’s a little pricey for what you get. A «just right» small was $ 3.60($ 3.89 after tax). I’d definitely come back if I was in the neighborhood though!

An all time favorite. I remember when it was first opened by the original owners and now it has flourished and sold off to new owners who also have another location in Gilbert. I love the variety of flavors such as seasonal flavors, the chocolate based flavors(rocky road, bacio, German chocolate cake, tiramisu, etc.) as well as their fruity flavors(mango, strawberry, lemon, etc.) But my ultimate go-to is the ferro Roche. The gelato shop has a nice simplicity to it and has it colors of orange, blue and white. They have options of a small, medium and large size cups where the medium cup can have 2 flavors for just under $ 5. I like eating with the tiny colorful spoons. And then they top off the gelato with waffle cone triangles. Deliciousness.

My family and me came here last night the customer service was horrible. At first my niece wants to get the waffle cone and the short hair girl told us that we can’t get it because its for tomorrow for a party. I’m paying for my ice cream not like she give away the waffle cone or something. The girl face look very grumpy. After hearing our conversation my niece no longer wants the cone. I give two stars because I like their ice cream.

Came here for the first time at the beginning of June with a party of 12 after having a fantastic dinner at Gogi. Service was efficient but the girl helping us had a nasty attitude. We went back two weeks later on Father’s Day after having dinner at Gogi with a party of SIXTEEN this time(the nieces and nephews love the gelato). We were helped by a different girl and she was very cordial and the service was much better. The gelato here is delicious. I bounce between the amazing pear sorbet and the chili chocolate, I even bought a pint to take home my first time there, despite the attitude behind the counter. The gelato is THATGOOD. Customer service is quick to respond to emails, and I appreciate that. But if they promise you a gift card, don’t wait by the mailbox.

We’ve been to Gelato 64 a few times & I can officially say that this is my favorite gelato place to go! They have a wide range of flavors. Plain Vanilla to Chocolate Chilli to various fruit flavored selections. The Stracciatella is one of my favorites — it’s a sweet cream gelato with chocolate shavings. The mango, guava, & peach flavors are really good. Definitely try out a few flavors when you go!. We will definitely keep coming back.

When I first walked in, I was overwhelmed by the amount of flavors available. Anything you could imagine, they had flavorized. For example, for one of my options I chose«sunshine.» Seriously? Sunshine? Now that’s a lot for a flavor to live up to. Luckily, it was one of my favorites tastes(naturally, since there were so many options, I got like 10 tastes of different flavors). Even though I’m not much of a sweets person(gasp!), I cannot wait to return to enjoy another 10 tastes in addition to a small cup of delectable gelato!

My favorite gelato spot! I haven’t been by since they first opened up and what a treat! I met up earlier with my old middle school friend here earlier and I noticed a few good changes! They seemed to have removed one whole freezer’s worth of gelato and the furniture went from modern and chic to old school wooden. The theme inside is still vibrant orange and blue so I feel like the furniture no longer matches but oh well. After trying a few good flavors, it seems the recipe hasn’t changed much. I am a bit sadden to see my favorite chocolate chili gone though. So instead I got the salted caramel chew and it was delicious. I’ll definitely be back soon!
