My Jacalito Michoacana Ice Cream

Great little family run ice cream shop that also sells sandwiches and the most delicious drinks I think I’ve ever had. When I find the to-​go menu I’ll remember the name (agua frescas?) but they were made from fresh fruits in a dozen flavors or so – cantaloupe, watermelon strawberry, mango, pineapple, you name it! One flavor, that is, not all mixed together! Haha!

They had cheap little deli sandwiches like ham and cheese that were good enough for the money too. And ice creams and Popsicles made from fresh fruits also. But it was the drinks that kept me coming back, especially in that 112 degree weather! They opened up in the summer of 2007 – perfect timing for me to enjoy them while I was in town!
