Easy parking, clean theater and good snack selection albeit expensive. Service at the counter was fast and friendly.

One star goes to the female manager who felt the need to power trip and walk up to me to turn off my cellphone that was not bothering any of the other patrons. First of all, I’m pregnant and emailing my doctor. Second, if my cellphone use is not bothering anyone around me, meaning it was on silent with the light on dim, why should it matter? To avoid any further disturbance to the other patrons, I decided to turn my phone off. While she kept making sure my phone was off.
I wanted to speak to her after the movie (watched the 6:05pm showing of Zootopia) but I did not see her. I would totally understand that I should turn off my phone if it was bothersome but honestly, with less than 10 people in the theater and no one around us, I don’t think it was necessary.

It’s your standard movie theater. Nice employees, expensive snacks, plenty of comfy seating, and great picture and sound. Pretty clean and rarely crowded.

I like these smaller Harkins because the parking lot and lines are easier to deal with. The service here is always friendly and if it’s busy, they will open more concession stands to accommodate everyone. On multiple occasions they’ve given me the fresh hot popcorn that’s falling out of popper, I love it! Now I want to go watch a movie!

Seems u either freeze or fry depending upon which threater your movie is in… otherwise nice enough place to watch movies. Good sound and chairs are comfortable.

Typical Harkins theater. We go here 90% of the time as its close and convenient. Only complaint would be make the temperature of the nacho cheese a little warmer please!

This is my favorite Harkin’s Theatre in the Southeast Valley! It never feels over crowded or dirty! Early morning showings are the best because there never seems to be an issue finding our favorite seats at that time.
Al is a rockstar! He always has a great smile and always makes my family and I feel welcome there!

Ant Man opening day put in the smallest theater in the building. Showed up 30 minutes early show was already almost sold out and we sat front row. Whole theater was on the same page, unhappy. Bad plan Crossroads, usually really like this place but bad management choices will make me a San Tan customer now.

I actually prefer this Harkins now over the one at Chandler Fashion Mall. Less crowding and you can dish out your own butter from their dispensers.
Clean bathrooms and theaters were great and the food selection is better than that of Chandler Fashion Mall’s Harkins.
Only downside is be seats are a bit uncomfortable for those of us who are shorter (5’7″).
Overall, this is going to be my goto theater for watching the latest and greatest movies that get released.

One of those theaters that’s not as busy, with lines that are a little shorter yet same great movies. Much more convenient than going to a mall for a movie.

Well tonight I just came for popcorn and a drink and stay at home for the movies tonight but I love this place

Great theater. A little smaller then the rest. Everyone seems to forget about this place. It’s the best one to go see hot or new movies. Good fast food around it too for a quick date before or after the movie. Give this place a shot!

I like this theatre better than some of the others because its less crowded and overall the staff are nice. However, my one big issue with this theatre is that they don’t have a code of conduct policy. We had two drunks sitting behind us who were being disruptive, and when they were told to be quiet, the guy called the cops and said his wife had been sexually assaulted. He then proceeded to be aggressive towards management. Instead of asking this couple to leave, Harkins Management offered them free movie passes, because we told them loudly to pipe down, and it «ruined their movie experience.» The couple continued to talk through the movie and then the woman started kicking the empty chair next to me-​hard. Are you kidding me? These two clowns should have been escorted off the premises and a cab called. They ruined the movie for us and others in the theatre and all management was interested in doing was «making peace». Harkins– you need to get tougher on these rude people in your theatres and have a no-​tolerance policy for bad behavior. Until you do, I won’t be visiting Harkins again.

Nice theater with friendly staff. Less crowded than some of the nearby theaters near the malls. The free popcorn with the T-​shirt and Loyalty cup are worth the price if you go about 4 times a year.

I am not a big movie goer. I much prefer to watch movies in the comfort of my own home. This Harkins was fine. It seemed very clean and the employees were helpful. What I dislike are the seats. I think they’re made for much taller people. I’m 5′ 4″ and when I sit in their seats the little bump in the chair for your neck hits me right in the head. I feel like I’m getting a stiff neck as I sit there watching the movie. Unfortunately we went to see the hobbit which is two hours and 24 minutes. Much too long to be sitting where you are uncomfortable.
I would recommend this movie theater to people who really like movies, but for me I’ll have to go to a much shorter movie, so my neck doesn’t feel totally out of whack at the end.

After just having experienced a movie at AMC, I say thank you Harkins! I now remember why I only see movies at Harkins. (you can view my AMC review)
Snacks with loyalty cup and T-​shirt (or popcorn voucher for filling up the $ 25 gift card– and dont forget the free refillable bag) only cost me at the most– $ 2.50. yes, you have to factor in the original cost of the cups and the shirt, but it pays for itself with in a month or two.
Service is always fast, employees are pleasant and snacks are affordable!

Clean and convenient. I also appreciate the clientele on my side of town as well, it always makes a difference on the experience.
Prices seem to keep getting higher and higher which will ultimately be movie theater’s downfall.

Smaller than most Harkins and maybe that is why it tends to be cleaner. It feels like there are more smaller theaters at this one but I like it for its cleanliness and proximity to home. It also is a lot less crowded which is a huge plus!

I have gone to this location twice now and each time it was a very nice experience. The hubby and I went to a show and we made sure to get the works since its been years since we’ve been to a theater. We got the popcorn, drinks and candy.
The popcorn was wonderful, the cost was of course a little pricy but it was worth it. The theater is clean all the way down to the bathrooms. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will for sure be coming back again!

This theater and the Harkins at Chandler mall are the same distance from our home. We choose this one every time. It is nice, clean, and not full of young kids. Nothing against them, we have all been young once.
The refill cup deal not not be beat. The pizzas are surprisingly good. They bake them fresh when you order. They are the Freschetta brand.

When I’m going to see a movie, I generally go to harkins. I went to go see a movie while my friend was at work and had to wait around a bit before it started. The staff was super nice and the bathroom was spotless (no easy task with how many people are in and out, i’m sure). Yes, the concessions are over priced, but what theatre isn’t? Because I’m hard of hearing, I use assisted listening devices when I go see a movie (for the lack of closed captions). Once or twice I’ve had to macgyver the battery to work, but always receive assistance if it is needed. I’ve been to this harkins more than once and will definitely return. :)
*ahem* mini update here: Okay so, harkins totally gets 5,000 stars. I am currently waiting to be able to go into the theatre where my movie is going to play, an instead of an assisted listening device, they totally have closed captioning. I’m in love. This is so wicked. I can’t wait to see how it works!

What’s not to like about Harkins?
Freshly popped popcorn is always flowing.
Bathrooms are always clean.
Loyalty cups for $ 1.50 fills on soda and Loyalty shirt for a free medium popcorn!
This is a smaller location but I really like the service, plus this place has great parking and rarely sells out (even on premier days). The one thing I will say is the employees are infamous about over filling your cup, so make sure they wipe it off if they do otherwise you’ll have a super sticky hand.
Harkins is by far my favorite movie theater in the valley! Support your local chains!
