I have had the worst customer service experience at this location three times. The staff are very hostile towards each other and the customers. The old saying, «the customer is always right,» does not apply to the staff at this location. They are not there to serve the customer. I was running less than five minutes late for the last appointment of the day and called to inform the staff I was two miles away and they told me I needed to reschedule because they wanted to go home. Instead of asking questions and listening to what the customer is saying they make assumptions and the way the staff interact with one another makes it very uncomfortable to be in their presence. I have had three interactions that were less than positive and that’s why I’m compelled to share my experience with this office. I hope others don’t have this same experience but if I’ve had three issues, I’m sure it’s not a coincidence.

I loved this place. I have not received my glasses yet, but am confident that all will work out just fine. Dr. Thimesch was very professional and explained everything in great detail. She made it very clear that the main goal is for the client to be happy with their glasses. The entire staff that I encountered this day was friendly, helpful and pleasant.

I am surprised to see such great reviews when my personal experience with this company was much to be expected. STAYAWAY! I brought them a prescription to them from my own eye doctor. I loved this pair of Ray Bans they had. I wear progressive lenses. When I got my finished pair, they had severely miscut the lenses. The reading portion of my progressive was set way too low. They insisted the prescription was accurate and lens was cut right. I took it back to my personal eye Dr. and she even said the lens was cut wrong. My reading area was a bare sliver at the bottom of the lens. I went back to Perfect Focus, just to have Bob argue with me that the cut was right. I walked out. Also, after having this pair of glasses for a while now, I have noticed that my UV coating is coming off in areas of both lenses. In the 40 years I have worn glasses, this has never happened. This place uses cheap materials and does not stand behind its work for their consumers. I will never purchase glasses from this company again.

We went in today about 1:40 pm. They close at 2 pm. There was an short haired Caucasian lady that didn’t seem too friendly telling us they close at 2 pm. Okay. Thank you for telling us that. Nice way to greet us. Then, there were some dark haired women that checked us in and helped us with our VSP insurance. They were very friendly and didn’t seemed concerned we were coming in near closing time. My husband quickly found a pair of glasses he liked, which were like a better version of my glasses for men. Then they directed us to Bob who was wonderful and helpful. My husband was looking for progressives. Anyway, after some discussion of what we wanted, we talked about how my husband has never worn glasses before and how he is a software engineer and is at the computer all the time. Bob did a great job listening and presented us with some newer technology for progressives that my husband might like better than what he had already presented us with. He broke down what our portion would be after insurance was applied and gave us various options and told us what each option meant. The total would be a little over $ 300. But then he told us about this other technology that came out about 5 months ago with progressives that my husband might like better. It turns out that would cost us now just a little over $ 200. We weren’t totally worried about the price, rather about getting the right glasses to help my husband see things up close and for reading. The pair we got from Zenni Optical and online was totally unacceptable, which we ended up returning. Zenni Optical has awful customer service for when you have a problem and we shared that with Bob(well, not who the company was but just our experience with online when we had a problem, which is why we’ve chosen to go with a local glasses place that can help teach my husband how to effectively see through the progressives). Anyway, Bob went through a lot of stuff, being very thorough, yet succinct to explain things to us that we both could understand. We paid, left very happy. The glasses didn’t cost as much as I thought they would and Bob will be there to help my husband out when he needs it. The glasses should be here 7 – 10 days, which is a lot quicker than the 2 – 3 weeks from online. There is a 90 day guaranteed satisfaction, which is what Bob told us, which is great. I will update this review after my husband gets his glasses and we go through the next thing, but so far, we are happy with this place.

Loved this place! Dr. Hoepner is great!!! They had the brand of frames I wanted and clear billing. Called me by my «preferred» name as per the intake forms. Was a awesome experience.

I have been going here for 5 years now and the staff is so sweet. There is one girl who is a little rude but Dr hoepner makes up for it. I only go once a year and I have been there when she first got married, then the next year she was pregnant, the next had her baby and so on. Even though we only see each other once a year we catch up like we’ve been friends for ever. They get you in and out fast. And have a good variety in prices and brands for glasses /contacts. I’d reccomend going here for sure.
