Standard Eco

I was referred to Standard Eco by my friend and I couldn’t be happier. Darren came to my house same day and offered a quote for repair on my AC unit that was $ 200 less (nearly a 30% difference) than Parker & Sons. I’m close to needing a new unit but I wanted an interim solution that would allow me to get another year or so out of my current unit. Darren was very professional and friendly and took the time to explain all my options to me. Upon receiving several other bids from other companies, I hired Standard Eco to replace my fan motor and capacitors. They made the repairs the next day and now everything is running perfectly. These guys are awesome. Reliable, prompt, and knowledgeable. I’d absolutely recommend them and utilize Standard Eco again in the future.

Wow, I just read a review about standard Eco and and I’m amazed that it’s then only review listed. I’ve deal with this company a few times and have had nothing but an excellent experience.
All their staff was knowledgeable and a cut above many. No sales pitches, just repairs and honest professional opinions. Their recommendations saved me money and headaches.
I’ve used them at my business and home, referred them to my close friends and everyone’s been pleased. The owner went out of his way to get me the rebates from both the electric company and the manufacturer. Helped me with a sizing dilemma I had with another long term company.
The one thing I dealt with over the years from other company’s was on my tune ups. The techs would come out and at the end always recommed capacitor changes, contactor changes and expensive coil cleanings. I got sick of it becuse it would always happen when my wife was the only one there.
There guys didn’t do that, I got real assessments and real results and couldn’t have been happier. I purchased a Lennox solar based system and let me tell you, my electric costs went down, my rebates were phenomenal and I wasn’t sold on 10 year service plans. I was given one for free.

Where do I begin. Jesse Jackson, Standard Eco, LLC, is one of the most likeable, believeable guys you would ever meet. The two A/​C units and furnaces Standard Eco, LLC installed were so poorly installed the AZ Registrar of Contractors had a list of 20+ items that were NOT TO CODE OR POOR WORKMANSHIP. Our written agreement stated two 70BTU furnaces, Standard Eco put in two 90BTU’s furnaces, that were over sized for our home and Lennox customer service said they were a mismatch to the evaporative coils and would not give us a warranty on the equipment. We told Jesse Jackson of the wrong 90BTU furnaces and the evaporative coils and he tried to convince us they would be more efficient for summer and an upgrade. Never mind it would cost us more to operate in the winter than normal and would not be warranted with Lennox’s 10 year warranty. Standard Eco’s business cards state they are residential and commercial. Standard Eco’s Contractor’s license is RESIDENTIAL ONLY. So the ROC will be reprimanding them for false advertising, breach of contract, failure to comply with the Directive From The Registrar to repair their installation in our home. Jesse Jackson walked the job with my husband, after the install, Jesse passed the install, by his installers. We wrote a check for the install minus the repair for their installer coming through our bathroom ceiling and the person who showed up to repair the ceiling only had a caulking gun — not the way to repair a hole in the ceiling unless you don’t care how it looks. Next person Standard Eco sent did not match the ceiling texture, seal the texture so the repair stands out like a «sore thumb». And minus $ 140 for the job not taking 1 day as we were told but 5 days. Short story Jesse Jackson took our check for the install. Jesse Jackson is either incompetent or dishonest. Take your pick. Probably anyone that would walk the job and pass it with the NOT TO CODE violations and POOR WORKMANSHIP is probably both. Am now waiting for the recovery fund from the ROC and am told I should contact a lawyer to start a law suit. Hiring Standard Eco is up to you, their prices are really good. ROC Complaint #2014−4964

Our upstairs AC went out one day and I had come home to a 90 degree house on the middle of the hot AZ summer. I called Standard Eco right away and Jesse was able to come over that evening to find the problem. He ordered a new indoor blower motor first thing the next morning and installed it before noon that same day! I was very impressed with how quickly and professionally everything was handled! I definitely recommend Standard Eco to anyone who is searching for a good heating and air conditioning company!
