Starbucks

This place is terrible and today was the last straw with me. They’re consistently unfriendly at this location and they consistently leave off the whip cream that I order on my drinks!!! EVERY TIME! I always end up getting home and not even having a full cup of coffee or a full vanilla latte. I know I get charged for that.
Besides their complete lack of competence at this location, its really unpleasant to speak to a dull miserable sounding employee when I pull up in the drive through. I get it, you’re busy, but I work in the service industry too and it’s the most important thing to be friendly and smile. At least to pretend you’re happy to be there.
Despite being out of my way a little I think I’ll be going to the Starbucks on rural and Ray instead. At least they’re friendly there and they’ve never messed up my order.

The first girl who took our order was a sweetheart. I think she was a newer employee because she seemed nervous, but she was very nice and made sure she got our orders correct. After we sat down for 45 minutes in store, we decided to get our in-​store refills like we always do. I paid with my Starbucks card and I have green level rewards, so I’m definitely eligible. Anyway, the guy we asked for refills just stared at us blankly like he had no idea what we were talking about, almost like the refills didn’t exist. I thought maybe he was newer too and didn’t know about the free refills, but then he finally asked what drinks we got. I told him I got a frappucino which I know is t eligible for refills, but I always get the brewed tea refill. He just stared blankly again like I was an idiot before finally telling me since I didn’t order brewed tea I couldn’t have a refill. Anyway, I didn’t want to argue with him and just left but I wanted to post a review, hoping he might see and read Starbucks’ policy from their site regarding the free refills. Note from my screenshot that it says free brewed beverage refills regardless of drink ordered.

Never have I been to a Starbucks that denied they made something wrong. The woman seemed shocked that we wanted what we ordered. While we waited for the right drink another employee rang something and heard us talking about the experience. When the woman brought the drink I offered to pay and the guy stood behind her giving a dirty look. Go to the Starbucks on McClintock and Guadalupe for good service.

So I stopped by here just the other day for the first time even though it is so close to me. I was running late so I didn’t have time to make coffee myself and I knew the whole day would be completely fornicated if I didn’t have my coffee that day and since I didn’t plan on going postal at work that day I decided to stop and get a sandwich and coffee to go. Staff was friendly and everything went so quick that it felt like I just entered, ordered, and left. That’s the way I like Starbucks to be — quick and easy, no fuss, no drama.
10 bucks little man. Put that credit card in my hand.
If that credit card’s fo sho. Then you can go and go and go!
And out the door I went. Seemed like a much better day already!

I stop at this location frequently on my morning drive to work because it’s the most convenient for my route. I find the iced drinks are made very inconsistently. Every one I get has a different flavor. Isn’t exactly satisfying. The staff is always super friendly, but I feel the employees need to focus on the recipes of their drinks.

There are 3 drive thru Starbucks on Ray/​Rural, Ray/​McClintock, Ray/​101N. I come here the most, in-​store and drive thru. Honestly, the staffs here seem a bit indifferent or at least they made me feel like they are better than me. However, the drive thru here seem to be the quickest out off all.

I really like this location. I have never ordered inside of the restaurant. The drive thru is fast and my orders are always correct. My only complaint is the post that they have in the drive thru. It is so awkward. So a customer can never drive up to the window without parking the car straight. I always park really far at an angle from the window so that my car doesn’t get damaged.

I have a Starbucks closer to my house right on Ray and 101. BUT always go to this location on Ray & McClintock. The staff here is great. I especially love the drive thru lady who works Mon to Fri (she isn’t there weekends). Being a Starbucks addict, having the same friendly barista is something I prefer. My drink is always made correctly. Which when I walk in and order from someone I don’t know, it seems to be a ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ on if it is made correct. Only thing I request extra is chocolate drizzle inside cup. Lots of Starbucks mess that part up. So I use drive thru every time now, knowing my drink will come out correct. Service is quick too. Never long lines.

Ok… generally I would not review a Starbucks… BUT I go to this one fairly often considering it is in the parking lot where I park my car on thurs during my internship… long story, whatever. So it’s generally pretty good, but today I was in line behind this van for like a bazillion years (15 min)… I got up to the window and the girl had my drink ready AND gave it to me for free! WooHoo! That was super awesome. So for that reason, this location is cool in my book.

I love this location! The morning crew remember my very complicated drink and greet me by name when I walk in (They do this a for a LOT of am regulars… that’s impressive!). Chris is awesome and friendly perfect for my non morning person attitude. Puts a smile on my face! Keep it up–

I like this location because they have a drive-​thru. Even though there is almost always a long line, they get you on your way fast. The staff is friendly and competent. Also, they rarely run out of anything (other locations seem to go through their entire inventory of breakfast sandwiches and scones by 9am).
If you are the type that does not drink your morning coffee inside a moving vehicle, they also have comfy chairs inside and decent patio seating. The patio faces the parking lot and drive-​thru but it does have shade umbrellas so it can be very pleasant in the morning.
