I have taken my dry cleaning to Hour Glass for a couple years, but never my shirts. I have always chose to wash and iron my shirts at home. Recently I decided to take some new shirts that I bought into them to get them laundered and pressed. When I picked up my shirts, I noticed that on the inside of my collar on the back of my neck they put a label with my last name and cell phone number. I assume this is how they identify and track your order. Upon my return to drop off a few more shirts, I politely asked if they would be willing to put that info on the bottom of the inside of my shirt. My reasoning was because I do not have to wear a tie to work and my collar is then open, and I didn’t want people to see it. The guy at the counter said he would ask, but that is wear they put it on all shirts. Upon return to pick my shirts up the guy recognized me and informed me that he inquired about placing the label in a different spot and they said«no». He went onto say that basically if I did not like wear they placed it then they would ask me not to be a customer anymore. I was shocked and disappointed. I would drive out of my way to take my clothes there, because they do a good job on both my dry cleaning and laundered shirts. I will not be returning.
