Byerlys is an upscale supermarket with an outstanding selection of products. Their produce is the best I have seen in the area — large choice, quality products, large naval oranges, etc. Their bakery is outstanding, with a variety of fresh baked breads, donuts, and pastries. Their selection of organic is very large. Overall, fitting for upscale Chanhassen — and the prices match. An example is a 64oz bottle of soda runs nearly $ 1 over the price charged by other grocers, and meat is quite expensive. Look for the sales here, which bring the prices in line with others — the quality of the fresh foods (meat, produce, etc) are much better than most.

Always peaceful in this place. organic Produce and regular produce has an outstanding selection which is primarily why I shop here. Service is great, and I love the sale specials. I’m happy to support my local Lunds and Byerlys, I know when I shop there I get the best.

Always have had a great experience, best donuts, best cookies, best fresh salads, best deli variety, and definitely the best sushi. There is no comparison to ANY other grocery store sushi! Rarely do you get a ‘sitting’ tray of sushi. Wednesday sushi deals are must have.

Overall good products. Meats and Produce are comparable with better quality than the discount stores near by. They mark up the Canned/​Frozen items but you can usually find some good sales there too. Great one stop shop that understands their customers.

I love buying my wine at Byerlys in Chanhassen. I can find better deals sometimes but I would not trade the knowledge of the staff there for a few dollars more. I try to really stock up during the Buy One Get One Half Off. I like to try new Malbecs, Pinot Noir and blended reds and they never steer me wrong!

Had a really good gluten free devils cake, and crab crunch sushi. A little pricier than most places but overall it was decent. For healthy food the coop is a better option.

Tried Big Bowl Express for the first time last night. Please understand, I love Byerlys. I would shop there every day if there as one closer to home. But I was so disappointed with the food from Big Bowl Express I just had to write a review. I ordered two combo dinners. There was a beef and broccoli entrée that wasn’t bad but the chicken entrees left a lot to be desired. They all pretty much tasted the same, bland and tasteless. And I’m not sure if the «chicken» was actually real chicken or not. It just did not have the same texture as real chicken. So, I don’t think we will be indulging in chinese at Big Bowl Express ever again.
NOTE: Before Big Bowl Express it was Leann Chins in Byerlys. Maybe it’s time for a change ! How about Mexican ??

This Byerly’s is down the street from my house — it’s a convenient place to run to if I need something for dinner and don’t want to drive. However, the staff at this particular location are the least friendly and most rude people that I’ve ever encountered. I get it… some of the customers are total snob hellions that could ruin anyone’s day but really I’ve never seen a smile and the last time I was there and cracked a joke with the checkout lady she looked so shocked she responded with a smile about a minute after I made the joke. For real management — give your team a REASON to smile because it’s pretty obvious where the stuffy uncomfortable atmosphere is coming from.

Solid one stop shop for food and beverage. Byerly’s isn’t what it was 20 years ago given all the competition (Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s) but I do like buying something for dinner and then going to their liquor store for a bottle of wine.
