My cousin’s car broke down in the Chanhassen Target parking lot after she got groceries. As we were trying to figure out what was wrong with her car, the parking lot attendant, Nick, came over to see if we needed any assistance. He was very helpful and made sure we knew where the nearest shop with a good reputation was, and he welcomed us into the store while we waited for the tow truck. The store itself looked like almost every other Target out there.

Chanhassen, MN Store Target has been going down hill over the years. But the corporate«visionaries» have decided customer feedback is not required. I recently was treated extremely rudely by an employee in the Chanhassen store. Other employees and customers witnessed the incident. I tried to complain to the duty manager but he had zero interest. He had a holier than thou attitude. He gave me a stupid complaint card and said I could call the 1 – 800 number. No one said«sorry». Nothing. If you call the 1 – 800 number on the complaint form you get the Philippines. How arrogant of Target. How would a Filipino feel if they called customer service but got someone from the other side of earth(say Mexico) on the line who knew nothing about the Philippines? And there is no way to complain effectively online. They have no complaint form on their website — just a cheesy«feedback» form. 99% sure it goes it the Philippines for«processing.» Customer service outsourced overseas = company in decline. The manager was well aware«we the customer» have no effective way to complain and no one in Target would care anyway — hence his asinine attitude. Arrogant Target treated their customers poorly after the hacking incident. I also had to spend hours calling cell carries, etc. to give them new card numbers as my bank automatically reissued any cards I used at Target. Target obviously isn’t interested in me as a customer so I am not interested in them. They are working hard to make Walmart look good in comparison. If Costco gets a 9 in customer service, Target gets a 3. I am still addicted to Target clearance items but pretty much have stopped buying anything else from them. After this incident I will buy even less. My children will not crap in any diapers purchased from Target anymore! Target — GFY!

Likely we all already know whether or not we like Target stores as a whole. So just a couple things that make this Target different from other Targets. It’s smaller than most Target’s, especially the newer ones, so less selection. However they usually have the biggest clearance section, at least in clothes. Frequently they’ll have several racks of 50% &75% off whereas it seems most Targets just have 30% and if I’m lucky there will be one 50% off.

Its Target, filled with a bunch of the local high school kids working. I don’t like how the feature stuff is bad in the corner but its an older layout for Target.
