Dinner Done!

Great prepped meals for the working family and reasonable prices. We discovered Dinner Done! about a year ago and couldn’t be happier so far.

This place has literally saved my husband & my life! We both hate to cook and are very busy with work. This is simple simon no-​brainer cooking & I think I am learning a few things. It is very relaxing. And, I am a food snob & this food is AMAZING!!! And SO easy-​freezer to oven.
I purchased 8 Pyrex dishes from Amazon to take in there so I don’t have to deal with all of the packaging & waste-​this is how dedicated I am! I seriously feel like I became a gourmet cook overnight & it ends up being about $ 7 a person with no shopping, cooking, or clean up!!! You must go!

I never Unilocal but I love this place! Not only is the food great, and totally affordable, it’s fun. For a family of three, we made 12 meals for $ 165.00. The staff is helpful and made sure the stations we picked were safe for my daughter’s nut allergies. Planning a trip there every month!

I would like Robert and his staff to know how much I appreciated how they came to my rescue. I planned to come in and make my own meals before my surgery for my husband and sister that would need to eat while they took care of me. At the last minute, I called Robert to say I was so swamped with getting everything ready for my surgery that I would like for his staff to make the meals and I would come and collect them. When I arrived, everything was ready. I even bought extra sides that were available. Robert even came out of his office, wished me luck with my surgery and offered more dinners that could be prepared and delivered to me during this trying time. How supportive this was just to hear this. Thank you DInner Done, Robert and the wonderful staff you have!

I went to Dinner Done in Chantilly for the first time a few weeks ago and was very impressed with the facility and the concept in general. I prepared 4 entrees in under 2 hours and my family enjoyed all of them. Everything was very clean and well organized and the food portions are generous with fresh, quality ingredients. The one thing I didn’t like was the staff watching me as I worked. I realize that they are there to direct and help since it was my first time but it made me nervous and self conscious. I also thought the pricing was a bit high but that being said, I am still planning to go back. It was worth it to have prepared meals ready to go in the fridge/​freezer and not to have the nightly dilemma of what to do for dinner.

I like Dinner Done because it is convenient but every time I have to deal with the customer service end, I get rude employees. My first experience was when they first moved and I had an ‘in-​kitchen session’. I had no idea they moved and got a babysitter for my kid and was very disappointment. The owner never apologized and blamed me for not being more prepared with where their new location is. I recently spoke with the owner about a mis-​communication with the free delivery date. Normally my section is the first weekend of each month and when I called on a Wednesday to ask where the delivery is, I got a sarcastic response about it coming THIS upcoming weekend. The customer service is poor and that I why I gave them 3 stars. I would recommend better communication via phone calls and emails with appointment/​delivery times and not to be sarcastic to your customers.

I order 10 – 12 dinners each month from Dinner Done. They are always delicious, unique recipes I wouldn’t have tried on my own. My family’s favorites (so far) are Carolina BBQ, Lasagna and Honey Sirachi Chicken. The cost is worth it because we no longer get to the end of a busy day, realize we have no plans for dinner, and end up going or ordering out. I pay the prep fee and just pick my meals up once a month, but preparing them yourself looks like fun too. Highly Recommend!

I went to Dinner Done this morning in Chantilly, VA. The facility is sparkling clean. The staff are friendly and courteous. I assembled 10 dinners in just over two hours! I know there are plans out there for making dinners for a whole month or whatever, but the time that would go into menu planning, shopping, assembling ingredients and cleaning would be overwhelming. Dinner Done takes care of all of it. There is a station for each dinner with all of the items you need right there. I am so happy about this and can’t wait to try my dinners. The price is very reasonable.

Great place to make dinner for the house. Costs about the same for a week of groceries without the waste! Great cuts if meat, fresh veggies and the food tastes great.
