I just thinking about purchasing an item so I asked the employee which turned out to be a board member, if we can negotiate over the price of an item. She responded in such a rude manner, «I am tried of being asked that question». I will never support this business again. If she is on the board and can treat people like that, it’s a sad day. Not to mention the items are not organized properly. Everything is utter mayhem.

Although I’ve shopped here on several occasions, today was my first time in the store in about a year. In a year’s time they have really managed to junk up the place. And while I like a treasure hunt as much as the next person, this looks more like a hoarder’s home than a thrift shop. I won’t be back.

Looking quite organized these days! But prices are much higher than before. Still, it’s all for a great cause, and always fun to browse.

Pender Regift and Thrift has a large selection of furniture, rugs and other furnishing accessories such as lamps. The furniture items are priced reasonably, perhaps a bit higher than other thrift stores, but the quality is generally better. This store has a limited selection of clothing, handbags and electronics. I cannot recommend Pender Regift and Thrift for these item categories. The staff seemed mostly pleasant but not very engaging. These are church volunteers in a very large space(due to the large amount of furniture) so I didn’t fault them for low engagement with customers.

Standard thrift store, I’ve picked up a couple of small items from them and I’ve dropped off plenty. The staff are nice and polite.

Prices are *very* reasonable, but they didn’t have a big selection of stuff I wanted(clothes, electronics, and games.)
