By now, I am sure we have all visited a Ruby Tuesdays; thus, what I am about to say is not going to be mind-blowing or perception-altering. As far as a Ruby Tuesday goes, this one is clean and I have always been treated nicely by the staff. The food is always served promptly and salad bar(although I don’t visit it) looks stocked. If you are looking for a delicious and exciting meal to take someone you recently began dating, this is probably not your place. The majority of the food you can probably just cook at home, especially the side dishes(e.g., sauteed zucchini, green beans, etc…). However, there is some value in visiting Ruby Tuesday. They almost always have specials on beer(for $ 1 more you get the super-duper size). Additionally, they often send out coupons in the local mail(e.g.,½ off the price of a second entrée). I’d wait until you get one of these coupons before visiting…

Went there for diner with my wife and kids. The place was empty but took them a few minutes to greet us. Server was not knowledgable about the menu(my wife asked her a question about a sauce and she had no clue). We just googled it. I ordered the chicken with crab cakes. Chicken was good, but the crab cakes were more like breadcrumbs flavored with a little bit of crab meat. My wife ordered lobster tail with sirloin. She asked for Med Rare but the stake came out well done. The asparagus were way over cooked. My little one ordered the kids Pizza and that thing came out in 5min(clearly cooked in a microwave from the freezer) Food quality is horrible here.

A friend and I met here for dinner. On entering the restaurant you are greeting with unpleasant smells, musty, possible from the dirty carpeting. Server was there to take drink orders and then we placed food orders. After waiting for some time I was brought a meal I hadn’t ordered and my friend was told the soup she had ordered was not available. She then ordered Spring Rolls which she was told they were also out of… To be told a few minutes later that they did have enough for 6 servings. My steak finally came out but I had ordered medium but it was well done and very mushy in places. The fries were not fresh and the salad bar was mediocre at best. The manager came over and offered another steak but I said no so he said he would remove it from the bill. After making another adjustment for charging me for a side of salad we finally had a bill we could pay. With so much competition for my dining dollars this is one restaurant I will not be returning to.

So I had a really great experience. Went here late Friday night, and we were seated fast. The service was great, and the drinks were good. We had the chicken bites in a Cajun spice sauce which came out hot and fresh. We also got burgers and Mac and cheese and all of it was hot and fresh. The burgers were cooked well, and had good flavor. I didn’t find anything wrong with this place, I don’t know why everyone else seems too. It’s your basic family restaurant with inexpensive food and drinks, it’s good value. If not at any other time I recommend going late Friday night cause that’s when service and food were great

Very good and healthy food. I recommend downloading the nutrition facts and ordering accordingly if health conscious We are relatively new to NOVA and before moving here we avoided chain places like the plague. However, we have since become resigned to the fact that we must look for the better chain places here if we want to dine out as the private restaurants are surprisingly disappointing. This place makes our«safe and quite good» list. I had the grilled double decker chicken with mushrooms and cheese and my husband had asiago beef. We ordered sides of grilled zucchini, broccoli and YUM spaghetti squash. Everything was top notch. Service was fine. It was clean. Hard to do better in this area.

I had the evening off early from work so I went on a date with my wife. We were not sure what to eat so we drove around. We had not been to Ruby Tuesdays in years so we stopped. The first thing we saw inside was an extensive salad bar. We were seated promptly and waited on immediately. After a short trip through the menu we decided on the salad bar. As with most salad bars the expensive things are at the back and at the end but there was a good variety of salad items. They had the things we like most in a salad and the food appeared fresh. We ate our fill and were very satisfied. Perhaps in the future we will get a main course, if we ever get past the salad bar. The interior decoration was a little plain. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was very good. The price about what i would expect.

Long wait time for food. Mediocre food. Edible that’s all I can say. Small portions, given the price. Décor is good.

I wish I could leave zero. I just had the worst experience of my life at a chain restaurant. We ordered a cheddar burger and kid’s corn dog meal, the burger came with no cheese and the corn dog came without fries. I understand that chains are for speed and convience, but this was bad. I will not be coming back to this location, what a shame.

While I love the menu of Ruby Tuesday, I have been twice disappointed by the service this location has offered. The second time and most recent time, my wife and I didn’t even order and just walked out. We were seated at a table near the bar area, which I don’t mind. It was a Saturday afternoon around 3PM, so it wasn’t busy. The problem for me and my wife was two employees sitting at the bar, speaking very loudly while watching a soccer match on one of the televisions. The volume of their speech was to the level of obnoxious. Even more disappointing, I alerted the manager to this, and he did nothing more than watch my wife and I leave the restaurant. When did the dining area become a break room for employees? We ended up driving to the Ruby Tuesday in South Riding, and it was well worth the extra ten minute drive. Excellent service and high quality food. It’s very upsetting, because I don’t mind paying for good service. I give it one star for their food, because I do enjoy the menu, but the service at this location is atrocious. When I am seated in the employee break room(in this case, the dining bar area), sitting next to loud, obnoxious, sports fan employees who are rude and inconsiderate, well then you lose my business forever. We will not return.

Quite fond of this chain and location as we have come here at least 4 times over the last 3 months. With that in mind, my only complaint is that every single time we have been asked by our wait staff if we would like some«fresh biscuits» while we wait for our meal and every single time we say«YES» and every single time they never show up.(Thankfully we end up getting full from the garden bar trip as one of our side items with our meal, so we don’t push the issue for the carb loaded biscuits.) One of these days I really want to try them though. Food is tasty and hot, refills are plentiful and good service all around. We keep coming back :)

Ordered 2 burgers off the«handcrafted» burgers section. For being handcrafted they looked pretty freezer perfect. Anyone would expect a burger to be juicy, but this was beyond juicy, you can just see the grease dripping before/after taking a bite. As if it didn’t all soak into the bun already. Disappointed. would have gotten Five guys or Wendys instead.

joined their email club and got a coupon by email for buy one get 50% off one. we went there on a sat. PM so the menu was the regular dinner menu for all day, but they have a lunch menu also during the week. the restaurant was clean and quiet, as the brunch crowd was mostly cleared out by our 3pm arrival time. we sat at a booth near the all-you-can-eat garden salad buffet counter and were attentively served. our booth was somewhat tight, but there were tables available also. we were seated and served promptly, with accurate order fills. i ordered the petite sirloin with two included sides: garlic mashed potato, and the garden buffet bar as the other included side. a very very good deal, even before our coupon was discounted! the wife ordered the La. shrimp and grits brunch dish, and the garden salad buffet as an optional side for an additional paltry $ 2.99 — about the price of adding a bottomless soda/coffee! my steak and mashed potato was absolutely perfect, hot, tender and slightly pink inside, as medium should be. perfect seasoning too, and they also brought a dish of A-1 steak sauce with our included/free appetizer hush puppies. NOTE: the garden salad buffet can serve as a meal in itself, for under $ 9 when ordered a la carte, as it includes leafy selections with about 20 toppings/dressings, and also there are about half a dozen prepared salads available at the far end of the garden buffet counter. i especially like the prepared antipasto salad with farfalle, ham, and diced vegetables. the wife likes the leafy tossed salad with lots of shrooms and fresh thinly sliced sweet red onions. THISIS the best weekday lunch/weekend brunch deal in the entire DC area for the money in my book, even before the coupon discount. there is also a bar, but it was pretty much empty during our visit; mid afternoon on a winter Saturday.

Where so I start. We got there and the girl that seats you is an air head. She drops the menu on the floor then shuffles them she we get to the table. That was a sign to get the hell out of here. The staff hangs around and parties like its college or a never ending party. Our server took drink order and ten went back took 10 mins to get the drinks because he had to talk with the rest of the staff that was standing around in back not doing anything. We order mozz sticks and drinks. I saw the cool or who ever works in the back bring our food out and then he stood back there and held them. It was 10 mins later before they would reach our table. This place has serious issues. The staff is running this place in the ground and don’t understand how ??? Seriously. No manger in sight as usual. I would not recommend this place. We paid and left as quick as possible. Never again!

Ruby Tuesday is a pretty generic diner that fits in with the typical American food. Of course, this would include entrees focused on steak, shrimp, and chicken; along with burgers, sandwiches, and salads(on the healthier end of the spectrum). Personally, I would rank Ruby Tuesday below T.G.I.F and significantly above Denny’s. The prices also fit appropriately in according to the quality. At our table we got the Salad Bar, Bacon Avocado Chicken Sandwich, and the Smokehouse burger. Each choice was not bad. The portion size was a bit above Asian and a little below American. The service was where I think the place had a leg up on other diners I went to. However, in all honesty I think it was just a good time to go. Saturday lunches area a more dead time for restaurants with a higher employee to customer ratio. For a safe bet for a larger group or for a place to focus more on the people without having to worry about the quality of food or service, I think Ruby Tuesdays is a good bet.

Ruby Tuesday is the chain restaurant I most associate with the time I spent growing up in Portsmouth, VA. Well, that and Morrison’s, but that is more about a grandparent association, and also a review for another place and… I digress. Anyway, Ruby Tuesday is pretty standard and then you add the salad bar, which is where it starts to get better. The menu has undergone many changes over the years, some of which have truly pissed me off(I still miss the coconut shrimp), and others that have made me happy(hello happy vegetable side selection). The salad bar really hasn’t changed over the years, though. The same salad options on the bar today were there when I was 15 years old. Of late, my favorite dish has been the petite sirloin with green beans and zuchini as my two sides. That is what I am really enjoying now — zuchini as a side… why don’t more restaurants do this? Why all the vegetable medleys? I only like half of those veggies anyway! Why not focus on one vegetable, or individual vegetables as sides? So, there you have it; a place where I am assured of a decent meal and the bonus of enjoying some of my favorite veggies cooked exactly as I like them. Ruby Tuesday is almost always going to get a «yes» vote from me.

It’s a chain restaurant, can’t expect the absolute best but it gets the job done! Love the salad bar, obsessed with the pasta salad, I get at least 3 full plates. Food is medicore. Though last time I came here when they started serving their pretzel bun burgers. It was amazeballs! Service is pretty fast, usually no one is there so there’s no reason why it shouldn’t be. Customer service is pretty good, never had a problem with anyone. Overall, it’s a decent joint to go to with affordable prices.

Unimpressed with this locations service. Hostess seemed like we inconvenienced her to seat us and barely said three words to us. Next group of people got full politeness from her and a very welcoming tone. Waiter was very nice, but didnt check on us tok often until the end. food came out promptly and tasted pretty good, it was easy to get the check and leave. Food and quantity are great. Customer service needs improvement.

Don’t judge me because I“m giving a not-so-special chain 4 stars. In my opinion, Ruby Tuesday is the only chain worth going to — I won’t touch Applebee’s, Chilis, Olive Garden, Outback, etc. with a mile-long pole. Why am I giving up my foodie purity for Ruby Tuesday? It’s simple: GARDENBAR. People who are looking for fresh, healthy, raw, well-stocked veggies and 3 – 4 different kinds of lettuce — this is your jam. It certainly is mine when I want to fill my plate many times with delicious salad goodies — perfect for WW, vegan, raw, vegetarians, and people who just want a healthy salad at a good price. Oh, and their service seems to be light-years beyond any other yucky chain. I ask for my steamed broccoli or grilled zucchini to be prepared without butter, and it has never been a problem. My waiter even pre-empted my general abhorrence for buttered chain restaurant entrees and assumed I wanted my salmon prepared without butter — winner winner! It ain’t fancy, I won’t take out-of-town guests here, but when I just need to get back on plan with a delicious salad and some fresh veggies, while the fiancé wants to eat something a little more indulgent(he LOVES their turkey burger), we go to RT.

I know Rub’Tues is sorting through it’s problems right now but I think in this case the concept and execution are missing each others. The salad bar is the draw here and they dot hat well — props to them for that. The table service strikes me as almost purposefully aloof, I wondered when I visited this location why that same feeling struck me compared to the South Riding copy. I wonder if it is part of their newer, aim-high concept? Don’t know, but it rubs me the wrong way. More substantively however, the buffalo chicken burger is A-OK — enough spice with some added cheese, tastes great. The bun was warm and chewy, the chicken plentiful and well-spiced. I believe that is an older menu item repackaged, and done well! Solid 2.5 stars — I prefer this further location compared to the South Riding location — service here was better. Another decent visit here and we’d bump to 3.

I thought the salad bar was pretty decent. Came with a bunch of people on a Saturday afternoon. Ordered one of the Zucchini Cake Mini + Garden Bar combo. Funny thing is that it cost exactly the same as the salad bar… so you essentially get the zucchini minis and fries for free. The zucchini minis were alright. I was planning on getting only the salad bar so whether the minis sucked or not didn’t matter to me. Looking forward to coming back to another one of these joints. Not too many of them around.
