Spring Automotive

I need to update my review because John is no longer at Spring Automotive. I can’t say my review applies to the new owners because I haven’t been back (we moved) and have no experience with them. He had told me he was leaving, we just didn’t know how soon. On our way out of town we stopped in to say goodbye but he was no longer there. John if you read this: Alex and Kevin miss you!

John is the absolute best mechanic you could ask for. He is a very honest person and will work with you to make sure you get the exact service you need.
Here are a couple of examples:
I’ve taken my wife’s car in because it had squeaky brakes. John looked at it and said that they just had some extra metal in them. Sometimes the dealer break pads are like that. So he proceeded to clean out all four wheels and breaks. Cost = nothing.
My car needed new break pads. Found this out when I got my inspection. They also said I needed a new arm bar. $ 600+ for everything. I took it to John, he said you can change your break pads yourself (cost me $ 25). But he said it would be too hard to change the arm bar. So he did that for me for $ 120 something. Passed inspection.
Wife’s newest car, water pump breaks and radiator empties out. I take it to John and he sais its a $ 300-​$ 400 job, but was pretty sure it was still covered under warranty. Sure enough, take it to the dealership and they fixed it at no cost (of course it took them a day and a half to do it when John would have had it done in a couple of hours).
I can’t say enough good things about John and Spring Automotive. I won’t take any car to anywhere else before taking it to John first. Plain and simple.

John has integrity and does a wonderful job of analyzing the situation and working with you to find the best option for your car. He goes out of the way to give you his best. Great prices but more importantly, a mechanic you can trust. Highly recommend him (Situated at off Gum Spring & 50 near the BP Gas station)
