I really like how they have late hours and are usually pretty fast about getting food to you if you order in the store. The food itself is decent and they have a pretty large menu to choose from. The food can be kind of inconsistent though(sometimes it’s poorly wrapped together). I am only rating it a 3 though because of their delivery. Delivery is no longer free even though on their website they still claim they«Deliver Skis Free» in some places. Delivery wait times have usually ranged been 45 minutes to 1.5 hours. In the past I didn’t mind the wait times because of free delivery, but even now when paying the wait times have still stayed consistently long. Not sure if this is because I just happen to be the last stop each time, but something to be wary of.

Literally the only reason I come here is the Aloha Ski. I have a soft spot for pineapples, and the Aloha Ski honestly just tastes like heaven to me. Other than that, [B]Ski’s is, on the plus side, convenient, and the service is great. Its central location on Franklin and carry out options are appealing to me as a college student. The staff are always smiling and very friendly. On the down side, the wait time is pretty inconsistent, and the price is not too favorable for the portion you get. For the price of the Aloha Ski, I could definitely get more food than a 6-inch-long wrap at other places on Franklin. Not usually a problem for me since I have a small stomach, but if you’re really very hungry and need a large quantity of food, eat somewhere else. Overall, though, [B]Ski’s is good. Its convenience and my insatiable cravings for the delicious Aloha Ski will probably have me coming back quiet often, even if I grumble about the price under my breath.

BSki’s is one of my favorite places on Franklin. One of the best things about the restaurant is that it’s a short walk from North Campus, but even if it were situated further away I’d still make the trip. BSki’s uses the line«The wrap redefined» to describe their business. While I’m not going to tell them they’re wrong, it’s easier to describe BSki’s as a place where they make nontraditional burrito-type foods. You won’t find your Mexican-style burritos here, but things like breakfast burritos and those chicken wraps you get at McDonald’s aren’t too different from what you’ll find here. BSki’s offers cheap food that’s unlike anything else you’ll find on Franklin. It’s a place where, regardless of what you order, you’re going to be satisfied with whatever you get. No one item or group of items is lacking in quality, and while the wraps themselves seem to have become a little smaller lately, the quality is even more consistent than it was before. The wraps(called«skis») are obviously the biggest draw, and for a good reason. However, if you’re stopping by for the first time, be sure not to overlook the fries. They’re unique to BSki’s too. On top of all this, if a Coke Freestyle machine(the 100+ flavors one) helps sway you, they have one of those. The staff are routinely friendly and will bend over backwards to help you should you need it. Despite the fact they are one of only a few restaurants to deliver as late as 3AM, the employees have always been super kind. Regarding the restaurant: BSki’s has a unique aesthetic. Nothing that strikes me as too strange, nothing too familiar, either. It’s uniquely BSki’s, like everything else in that building.

I ordered the Sunrise Ski and asked to get half Cheddar and half Swiss Cheese, NOT extra cheese, just Half and Half. The guy who rang me up checked with the owner who said that they could do it, but would CHARGEME for EXTRACHEESE and for him to write a note on the order to do LIGHTCHEESE, even though he said that she understood that I didn’t want any extra cheese, only the normal amount, just 2 different kinds of cheese. So they would charge me EXTRAMONEY to do the normal amount of half one kind and half another kind of cheese. 2 kinds of cheese, the normal amount, NOTEXTRA. That’s ridiculous and not logical and pretty lame and stupid. DONTGOHERE. Bad food. Bad service. Bad owner. Bad bad bad.

Came here once for a take out. Never get a take out here. If you want food, stay here to eat and have them wait on you, because ordering a take out takes 25 minutes anyway(no joke, I ordered, went out, took out SOMETHINGELSE the same time, got that in 10 mins) and they probably give priority to those who tip. Food wasn’t good enough for me to be happy. The restaurant was literally half empty too.

Don’t go to b skis. If you’re starving at 1am, go to Cosmic or somewhere else. Food is quite average. Got the philly cheesesteak wrap, underwhelming for 7.50 and doesn’t include fries

Waited 20 minutes for a wrap to-go with no one waiting in front of me. A couple people ordered after me within 5 minutes. When it’s finally brought out, the two orders(one much larger) came out at the same time. The person handing it to me looked at me like I had no business being there. I’ve never ordered food where it sat in back until more orders were ready because a lazy employee thought it better to have me wait 20 minutes to save themselves a 20 pace round trip. I’ve worked a share of food service jobs. A reasonable customer wait time is of obvious importance. On top of that the wrap tasted as though it was from Mickey D’s – gross. For that quality I could have just gone there and saved myself some time and money. I’ll give it two stars over one because I didn’t get sick and they didn’t spit in my face.

A college staple, the AK ski will quench the drunk hunger that turns you into zombies at 2AM. They’re pretty good sober too I guess.

Had the«Clubski» tonight. The grilled chicken inside the wrap was moist and easy to chew. Plenty of lettuce and extras inside which left me content. Serving is just right for a meal. Service was acceptable. The fountain soda drinks give lots of choices. Wish there was one of these in CLT.

This place is okay. I got the #6 which was the original chicken tender wrap and it was smaller than I thought it would be for the price. The fries were cold which was very disappointing. I liked how they’re open late though.

NOTE: I tried to post this with a zero star rating, but Unilocal required all reviews to have at least one star. B Ski’s has officially lost me and hopefully all of my friends as customers. The owners should be completely ashamed of themselves. Not only have their prices gone up significantly, but they have noticeably begun skimping on the amount of ingredients they use for their skis, leading to more expensive but far poorer quality food. Worse yet, their policy on water is laughable at best and shameful at worst. Anytime after 11⁄12 at night, the water cup you get is literally a plastic shot glass. Luckily all the employees are extremely embarassed by this absolutely pathetic business practice and always apologize profusely for it. However, the final straw came last night. Yesterday was my class’s graduation at UNC, and B Ski’s was having a special where anyone who came in in their cap and gown would be given a free meal. Great, right? Well, my friends and I came in around 1:30AM, and I was in my graduation regalia. When I ordered my food and was told how much it would cost, I brought up the promotion. In response, the employee at the cash register told me that it was«too late,» so I ended up paying for my meal. This is completely over the line. Perhaps if B Ski’s served better food, they wouldn’t feel the need to be this inexcusably, laughably and shamefully cheap.

Okay for lunch in a pinch as it is close to work. Pros: –Lots of veggie options –Customizable –No line for lunch around 1:30 on a weekday Cons: –Wasn’t that special/tasty –Didn’t having dressing in the wrap but rather in a to-go cup –Service was exceptionally slow for no line

I’ve been going to B Ski’s since I was a freshman in college, and it’s always a solid choice if you want a quick meal that’s not your typical burger, sandwich, or burrito. B Ski’s is unique in that they specialize in Ski’s, which are basically a hybrid between a wrap and burrito. They have a great selection of Ski’s ranging from grilled chicken, chicken tenders, steak, breakfast, and veggie Ski’s. I always go with the chicken tender Ski’s because the fried tenders are always prepared fresh and offer a great contrast in texture between the crunch of the chicken and the softness of the tortilla wrap. My two favorites are the A.K. Ski and the Aloha Ski. The A.K. has chicken tenders drenched in hot sauce and ranch, reminiscent of buffalo chicken wings dipped in ranch. The tortilla is warmed on the flat top, melting the pepper jack cheese before the chicken tenders and lettuce are wrapped inside. The A.K. has great flavor and spice, but not too spicy to make you sweat. The Aloha Ski is more on the sweet side with the great combination of honey mustard and ham with chunks of pineapple. The bacon isn’t too crunchy, but combined with the ham, they give the Ski the saltiness it needs to balance the sweetness from the honey mustard and pineapple. The melted and gooey mozzarella cheese just perfectly holds everything together inside and completes the the Hawaiian themed Ski. The fries are seasoned perfectly and are always served freshly fried, making it a cut above your average fast food fries. The chocolate chunk cookies are AMAZING and may appear average to the eye, but one bite and you’ll realize the the gooey and melts chocolate interior is worth every bite. The cookie has a great crunchy exterior yet soft and warm center. Overall, I would recommend B Ski’s as a great place to grab a quick bite to eat if your in the mood for something a little more unique than your average blast food restaurant.

I’ve never had anything here that wasn’t excellent. Some will say«[B]Ski’s is only good when you’re drunk.» I would like to challenge that claim from experience and say that it’s great any time of the day. It’s always fresh, unique, affordable, fast and the service is excellent. However, it is a fantastic drunk option because it’s open wonderfully late and delivers to cater to that lazy drunk side in all of us. Seriously though, I am very impressed with the quality of food and service [B]Ski’s offers. I would recommend this place to anyone. PS– I’ve spoken with the manager and owner before. The manager was telling me about how they use phone apps to make sure the all the employees complete all necessary tasks to ensure the store is always immaculately clean and tidy. Judging by the great service and spotless store, they seem to be working! Also, the owner is an incredibly nice guy with a passion for his business. He’s a local too, so you’re supporting local business with every wrap you purchase!

Favorite delivery in Chapel Hill. Bski’s is my go-to«studying is killing me, and I want to eat all of my feelings» food. I’ve never ordered anything other than the veg-e ski and never will because I absolutely adore it. Also, the chocolate chip cookies are amazing, as they serve them warm. Honestly, I’m not big on actually going to Bski’s — especially at night because you’re dealing with the drunchies crowd. And it’s not worth the trouble of looking for parking on Franklin. But if you just happen to be around or want delivery, Bski’s is the spot for affordable, filling food.

So disappointed. A friend and I were hungry on a Sunday night and decided to go to Franklin Street and eat. We settled on B Ski’s since it’s pretty close to a UNC staple. It was pretty quiet when we got there, and in seconds I had to place my order. I probably should have read the menu before I came, but I quickly ordered an Aloha-ski and a cup of water and called it a day. It came out to $ 7.50 which isn’t cheap but also not expensive by any means. The food came out very quickly. It’s just a big piece of aluminum foil with the wrap. I was so underwhelmed by the whole thing. It was pineapple, bacon, and ham(maybe some other stuff but I forgot). It was so unbelievably salty and overwhelmed by pork products that it was just bad. The bread added nothing to the wrap. The only saving grace was the pineapples. I couldn’t even eat half of it. The service was good – I had no problems and everyone was nice enough. The atmosphere confused me – it tried to be homey but wraps+homey didn’t click for me. Overall, it was just underwhelming. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go back again. There are so many better options on Franklin(Suttons, Sandwhich, Chipotle, Panera, etc.). Oh well.

My husband introduced me to this gem while showing me around his alma mater. Bskis is really good sober… AMAZING drunk. I highly recommend the philly steak wrap, and you MUST get the grilled cookies. Yes. GRILLED. With a tall milk. Also had the chance to meet B– the owner. What a nice, chill guy! Seems to really love what he does, and it shows by how this place is run :)

I really want to like B Ski’s, but my experiences have been way too inconsistent. The main draw of this place is the hours; it opens to 4AM most nights. You can pretty much depend on this place for late night food. But what good does that do if the delivery blows? Every time I order, it takes an hour or more to get here. It’s frustrating. Service at the restaurant is fantastic though: fast and friendly staff, and the manager is chill as hell and gives you great tips on what to order. As far as the food goes, the Bac’d Ski is my go to, and the A. K Ski is pretty good too. Mesquite Ski and Chicken Ski not so much, but maybe that was because I got those delivered; who knows. Fries are pretty delicious though, in-restaurant of course. So, I guess the moral of the story is this, kids: 1) Eat-in or Take-out 2) If you have to order delivery, don’t get fries.
