Pretty good, but it was a bit slow. Their waffle cones are great!

I ordered a single waffle cone. First the employee with hair braids and no hat had to finish his text messages before he could get his scoop. The he plops one scoop in, hands it to me. Most ice cream shops put in one scoop and then the single scoop on top. A double would have two scoops on top. So, I said please make it a double. He did, handed me the cone and said nothing. He went right back to his phone. I cashed out with the young lady. Overall the store is absolutely filthy. The walls are dirty, the floor doesn’t look clean either. There are flies buzzing around also. The door is coated in what looks like a weeks worth of finger prints. I will not be back. Poor service and presentation all around a bad experience.

Do not order an ice cream cake from here. I called ahead to ask if my cake was ready early and was told it was. After driving 30 minutes I got to the store and was told it was not. When I finally picked up the cake the next day I was very disappointed. The top of the cake was not smooth and was much smaller in size than how it appeared on the website.

Love that they are open late on Friday nights. Nothing better than a cone of chocolate when you’re wandering around bar hopping on Franklin Street!!! Like a beacon in the night. Nuff’ said.

So this ben and jerries is centrally located on the main strip. Good outdoor seating and friendly service. They do have flavors here that you can’t get in the store-which are good. Smoothies are good, the mango is tasty!

First time at a Ben & Jerry’s…it was a Saturday and the shake I had was ok. But I wasn’t overwhelmed.

I hadn’t been to this Ben & Jerry’s since I was in college, so when I was in town over the holidays, I decided to stop in. Everything was great! The store had a new design and the staff was really friendly. And of course the ice cream was amazing. Ben & Jerry’s never lets me down.

I love Ben & Jerry’s ice cream but this place was pretty dirty. Also, I ordered a cone and was really disappointed when it didn’t have any chunks of anything in my Bonnaroo Buzz — they must have missed them when they were scooping…

Their Butter Pecan ice cream is great! The staff is friendly and doesn’t mind if you try a few flavors.

I have this addiction to things with Oreos and milkshakes. I also have an undying love of Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream. Ben & Jerry’s has combined these things. And for this, I am happy. This Ben & Jerry’s is a convenient location on Franklin Street, and is locally owned, so that’s also very cool(there’s some great info on the walls about the owner, a relatively recent UNC alum). Despite the occasional crowds, the line moves quickly, and service is excellent. I may have a place in my heart for Yogurt Pump(there are bits of things in the MIDDLE of my cup of ice cream! :-D), but this Ben & Jerry’s is cool too.

Ben & Jerry’s is by far my favorite place to get ice cream in Chapel Hill. Not only are the ice cream flavors, sundaes, milkshakes, and ice cream cakes absolutely fantastic, but the location is great for me as a student, the staff is friendly, and the store gives back to the Chapel Hill community and to student organizations at UNC. My personal favorite: a brownie sundae with chocolate therapy and/or chunky monkey ice cream, caramel, oreos, and whipped cream!
