Framemakers staff has consistently provided exemplary craftsmanship, professionalism and care with several custom framing projects I’ve brought to them over the past four years. Their attention to detail and creative approach to ensuring artwork, (in my case, artwork ranging from photography to vintage print advertisements to vintage aviation memorabilia that required a shadowbox frame), is presented in thoughtful, skillfully detailed custom framing to be appreciated for many years to come. There is a «custom» frame shop two miles from my home I used once, but since my first interaction with Framemakers I happily drive the 30 minutes to Chapel Hill. I’ve worked with both Rhonda and Scott at Framemakers and have been very pleased with both. I believe that skilled craftsman deserve to be fairly compensated for their work. I’ve never regretted paying a bit more for work well done — including custom framing at Framemakers. In addition, I get so many compliments on the artwork I had framed at Framemakers. In each case, the finished product was so much better than I could have ever envisioned on my own.
