Its okay! If everything else is closed. Pork was way over cooked and the rice tasted burnt.

The only reason I am giving them one star is because there is no option for zero stars. Husband went in and placed order to go. He ordered General Tso chicken and Sesame Chicken. As soon as he came home he said the guy working was a jerk. When I take the food out of the bag I was given Szechaun Chicken(gross) instead of Sesame Chicken. When I called to request a refund the guy was more than rude and a straight up ass. He refused to refund my money because that is what was ordered. OMG… never had a business be so obnoxious. They have no business being in business. They suck

I wish they offered combo plates or small portions at dinner time. Everything — appetizers and entrees-on the dinner menu is large portions meant to be shared, so you end up ordering one dish and taking most of it home. If you are dining in solo, it’s a bummer.

Standard Chinese fare. Ordered orange peel chicken and it was alright, but I’ve had better in town. Prices are just a bit too high, as I would expect pretty good chinese food for over 10 bucks. Probably worth another go.

I love this place. Friday night in? Get your take out and your beer all at the same place. Family friendly and very accommodating. Would recommend

If you’re looking for very generic, American Chinese food, look no further. China Wok is known among the surrounding high school community for its $ 6.45 lunch specials(which is a recent increase from $ 5.95, but still a really good deal), where you can get an entrée with rice and add soup or an eggroll for only 50 cents extra. To be honest, I haven’t come here other than for the lunch special because I don’t think the entrees here are worth normal Chinese food prices($ 8 – 10 per) outside of lunch hours. You can take the lunch specials to go or eat in for the same price, and I’ve always found the service to be very succinct but efficient. In the past, I’ve also ordered food here in bulk and found the customer service to be very fast and accommodating. The workers here don’t really try to strike up a conversation with their customers ever, but they do what they need to to get your food to you as quickly as they can, which is all that I’m really expecting when I’m ordering some fast American Chinese food for takeout. The dishes here are exactly what you would expect from a typical American Chinese food restaurant. I draw a parallel with Chinese food trucks that I frequented in Philadelphia when I went to school there — cheap food tossed with a lot of pre-made sauces on top of a bed of rice. The food isn’t bad… for those people who love American Chinese food. There is quite a lot of sauce in the dishes, so they are all quite heavy. The hot and sour soup is pretty on point though; a lot of my friends come to China Wok just to satisfy their cravings of this soup. TLDR: don’t expect to be blown away by the Chinese food here; cheap Americanzed Chinese food for a cheap price and fast service.

This restaurant can be very hit or miss. Sometimes when I order everything is fresh and hot and at other times the rice is obviously old and the food has not been prepared carefully.

No longer my favorite Chinese takeout because of there«10 minute» policy. Waited an hour and a half being told 10 minute, 10 minute on Christmas evening. If it’s going to be a while just tell me. I will never be going back.

I come to this place almost once a week now. It seems to get better every time. They definitely deserve 5 stars. Extremely friendly service and they’ve dialed in the Coke fountain perfectly to give a really good water/carbonation/syrup mixture.

Very poor. Egg rolls are heavy, dumplings as well. Sweet and sour chicken is standard packaged food with watery sauce. Seafood Delight and vegetable dish both got thumbs down from the diners.

Last night I threw my China Wok in the trash after 3 bites. It ranked as #3 on my worst meals of the year. The staff is nice, other meals have been so so. I wish them luck, but don’t offer curry if you don’t know how it’s cooked.

Finally found a Chinese spot that mimics the classic NYC take out spot. Complete with horrible attitude and extra eye roll when you ask for something special. That being said– the food is decent American Chinese. The egg rolls my wife enjoys and I haven’t had a bad Chinese Takeout from there. Not greatest Chinese– but if you need takeout without any frills– this will do just fine…

I’ve had worse Chinese food than China Wok. When going to a Chinese restaurant at a strip mall, I tend to go in with low expectations. That way either I’m not disappointed or I’m pleasantly surprised. Well, in China Wok’s case, I wasn’t disappointed. The service was really good but the food was just okay. The General Tso’s chicken was more breading than chicken and not terribly spicy, the egg roll was more cabbage than anything else and the pork fried rice was kind of soft and mushy. It’s not the worst Chinese food I’ve had(and not even the worst I’ve had out here) and, in a pinch, I’d eat here again but I won’t go out of my way to do so. I’d give it two stars for food and four stars for service and end up with three. So, to repeat myself here … I’ve had worse Chinese food than China Wok.

My family and I have been eating at China Wok now for almost 5 years. At other peoples suggestions, we tried other chinese food places, but we always end up back at China Wok. We love their food. Coming from New York City, we have high expectations on our chinese take out and China Wok delivers every time. In regard to one of the other reviews, if you smile at the staff, they usually smile back, or at least that’s what I’ve found.

Mediocre, which is a shame because it is so close. Avoid the thai dishes, their curry is not good.

Over time, China Wok has become our household’s go-to takeout restaurant. I can highly recommend the Sesame Tofu and especially the Garlic Eggplant. We have ordered that same order so many times that I often call up and say, «Hi, this is John and I’d like to place an order for takeout.» To which I hear, «Hi John. Would you like your regular order?» Now, that may say more about the frequency of my visits than in the attentiveness of the staff, but I must say that Tina, Nina, and Susan are always very kind and have made a point to remember subtle things about my standard order so that I feel taken care of each time I go.

There is a scientific phenomenon that occurs when any one person in my office has Chinese for lunch. Our senses perk. The smell makes us salivate. We start to get a rumbling in our stomachs. Never mind that the Chinese food is never really as good as it smells, nor that the Chinese-takeout-toting leader of the pack is 5 floors above your office and all of that sensation is probably just in your head, an excuse you’re using to legitimize a craving for bad Chinese. So if that office happens to be: my: office, then you have a choice between Ming’s and China Wok. If I’m looking for a sit-down experience where I can cozy up to my manuscript, then I opt for Ming’s. But if I just want down-and-dirty lo mein to go, then it’s over to the Wok(or the«salt lick» [mm, salt and tofu] as some here refer to it). It’s a supremely typical joint: order at the counter, take-out only, General Tso’s with a side of soup and an eggroll at around six bucks.
