Thank you for being so kind and making a new sandwich when my son, who has autism, dropped his sandwich and had a meltdown this evening. Grateful for compassionate community businesses.

This subway was pretty good, they made my BLT sandwich really tasty, but the sandwich makers were pretty slow.

I gave this location three stars because the level of service here varies so much depending on who is waiting on you behind the counter. There have been times I’ve gone in when the store is virtually empty and have either had attentive and friendly service or gone the opposite extreme of cold and disdainful glances as I try to figure out what variation of the kids meal my daughter wants. They still make a good sandwich, but with the Harris Teeter deli and now the new Jersey Mike’s open now how will this Subway keep up? We’ll have to see. Sammiches. That is all.

I like a good Subway sandwich now and again. I can’t explain it, but this location gets busier than an anthill in the Springtime. The line is often out the door around mealtimes. My first visit here caught me completely off-guard. I was not at all prepared for the woman shouting at me behind the counter for me to deliver my order for our entire group in tow. Picture The Soup Nazi from Seinfeld and you’ll know what I mean. She literally made me frightened that I had not rattled off my order in the ORDER she wanted. By the time I got to the cash register, I was shaken. It’s true. No relaxing meal to be enjoyed here. I’m not faint of heart. So I’ve been back several more times. Yes, the sandwich sergeant is on duty and you will undoubtedly receive a loud sigh, a rolling of the eyes, and a tapping of her fingertips if you don’t deliver your sandwich request fast enough. TIP: Know what you want BEFORE you go. Practice it. Memorize it. And don’t make her mad…
