White Cross Shell

Again, I’m a huge fan of local businesses.
This Shell station went in and I checked them out because I was a fan of Harry’s Market which used to be across the street (I miss that store! So sad they went out of business).
Back to White Cross Shell – they are actually a SERVICE STATION! Need your oil changed? Go to White Cross Shell. Need a state inspection? White Cross Shell. Have a car question? Stop in at White Cross Shell. Need a car battery? They will hook you up.
I am always running back and forth on Highway 54, so it is a convenient place to stop for gas. My one complaint is that they have two pumps that consistently do not spit out receipts. I am a requester of receipts so I hate it when I have to go inside for it.
They are also my go-​to place for Maple View Farm milk. They have it reasonably priced and it makes it so easy to grab a half gallon or two while you’re tanking up.
They also rent U-​Hauls. My experience with trying to get a U-​Haul trailer from them was lacking in a big way – I guess it’s more of a pain for them to manage instead of really having the time to manage that end of the business But I’m cutting them some slack on that just because they deliver so well in every other area.
The ladies who work the inside counter are always friendly and helpful.
Definitely worth the stop. Way to go White Cross Shell!
