My sister is graduating from high school this weekend (!), so my mom, sister and I went to go get a celebratory manicure.
We’ve been to this salon a bunch of times, and it was always pretty good! Today, though, I have to say, I was pretty disappointed. When we walked in, it was PACKED. OK fine. It’s graduation weekend. I understand. We each picked out our colors and waited. They took my mom, then my sister, and then me. Both my mom and my sister were immediately waited on, but I just sat there. And sat there. And sat there. A girl came by, hurriedly took off my existing polish, and then proceeded to get up and work on someone else’s pedicure. Um. OK.
After both my mom and sister were finished, they finally got to me. The woman who did my nails was nice but SO slow! And then halfway through doing the polish, she just got up and left. Fortunately someone else took over, but what is this? Tag-​team manicures?
I am happy with the job they did, but the service left a lot to be desired. Not sure if I’ll be back when I’m in town next.
