Food is average«Chinese» blah. Prices are reasonable but the restaurant is filthy. The restrooms are horrible and looks like a turd is used to flip the light switch. I do not recommend eating here

I’m staying out in the area for a month, visiting from CA, and tried this place with my boyfriend and some of our friends. I’m impressed. Was a little wary walking in, kind of a sketchy vibe out front, but the waitress greeted us at the door with a big smile and promptly directed us to our table. All the ladies here were so sweet and helpful. I ordered the chicken chow mein(my go-to staple), and out waitress quickly let me know that it doesn’t have noodles and suggested i order the chicken lo mein if that’s what I wanted. Loved that she had the foresight to give me a heads up. I got my lo mein, and it was fabulous. Very generous serving. Great flavor. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it. Zero complaints from me. I would highly recommend.

Had the Chicken Lo Mein here, didn’t like the taste at all, will continue to go to Little Bamboo, even though it is a lil out of the way because their food is far superior.

This is a hard place to rate, because the people here really do try hard to make patrons happy. Everyone is friendly and very likable. The food is variable. The chicken stick appetizer is the best I’ve had, anywhere. But the main dishes are almost exclusively deep fried, even the cashew chicken. This gives them an interesting texture but somehow things don’t feel quite right. I found that, unlike Little Bamboo, the best way to eat here is to give the chef a challenge. If you tell them exactly what you want, and it’s unusual and different, they will rise to the occasion. If, that is, you remember all the details yourself. if you forget to ask for no broccoli, it’s not their fault if they put in an extra serving, just to make you happy. I’ve been going here lately instead of Little Bamboo because I’ll like the people. You probably will too. But the food, sadly, suffers from the Pittsburgh Restaurant Disease.
