Our inspector was completely unreasonable and drug our closing process out for WEEKS. We made all repairs consistent with SC building code and he continued to fail our inspection until we made ALL repairs –optional and necessary — that were noted on the inspection. I’m not accusing anyone of doing dirty business, but I have never encountered this in my 30 years in property management. I will absolutely never use this company again.

After I submitted my complaints to the company, the owner came out to my house to address my concerns in person. He admitted the mistakes on the inspection and explained some other things I thought were mistakes. He was very willing to work with me to make me happy and we came to a reasonable agreement.
I still wouldn’t recommend ACE Preferred if for no reason than their price — the other inspection quotes I got were $ 300 vs their $ 475. But the owner is honest, friendly, and provides good customer service so they deserve more than my initial one star.
