Charleston RIDE got me into spinning. I’ve loved every instructor, and enjoyed every class I’ve ever taken. The studio is awesome; perched on a third floor with large windows overlooking King St. The pricing is great as compared to new spin studios that have popped up around Charleston. They also do free community ride classes on Fridays at noon. It’s really sad that they’ll be closing their doors soon.

I took one class here. The work out was fine. I found the studio to be cute, but wished they had spin shoes. The music was ok, but was very low. The instructor talked too much for my liking causing me to not be able to get lost in the music. With this being said, it is cute and perfectly average. I’m used to spinning in more metropolitan cities where it costs $ 35 a class and you get all the bells and whistles. These classes are well priced and were good enough, just not very fun. Again, this review is based on one class.

This place has an amazing energy that is infectious helping you reach goals you never thought possible.
Everyone is welcome and everyone will feel welcomed. My first visit was so awesome and the instructor was so attentive to me as a newbie!

I’ve always hated spin classes. I’m very short and figured I would never really fit on a bike. NOT SO! I went for my first class at Charleston Ride this morning, and I’m hooked! I will be back!

I’m so impressed and appreciative of the studio layout (music, videos, and lights) and online scheduling process. The first impression is amazing for first time participants. The employees at Charleston Ride take time with each customer to make sure they are set up correctly prior to class. For any first time Spinner or veteran cyclist I highly recommend the Charleston Ride experience… You will not be disappointed!!!

I cycle and spin everywhere I go and CR is a star. The studio is charming in an old Ctown building with exposed brick and new wooden floors. Immaculately clean and up to date equipment. Took two classes and both instructors were great, pushed the class and paid close attention to the bike fit for all newbies up front. Free water and towels are a great touch.
Try it if you spin or not – great workout

I found this place by accident on one of my trips to Charleston. I cycle alot and Charleston Ride allows me to keep my training up for centuries. Hotel gyms don’t cut it. The instructors are great and the classes are designed so that all levels can ride. Tabata Tuesdays were my favorite. I agree with the first poster, the instructors are the best I have come across in my 14 years of spinning

This is THE place to go if you want to have a great workout and a great time in downtown Charleston! The staff is very professional and are all certified spinning instructors (and some of the best in the country at what they do). The atmosphere is great. I love that we listen to great music and often also get to watch music videos for extra motivation during the rides. You can really tell the thought that each instructor puts into planning the classes. As an added bonus — it’s also locally owned and operated and seems to be involved in lots of local charitable work.
