If you enjoy quality antiques at realistic prices, replete with customer service and a feel of welcome as soon as you enter the door then COPPEREAGLE is for you! My husband and I visited this antique mall for the first time last Saturday and it will be on our radar any time we visit Charleston. We were looking for a piece to repurpose as a bathroom vanity and there it was… right inside the front door! Charleston certainly has a gem with this business!

The store is indeed deceptively large with lots of nooks, corners and rooms to explore. It is chock to the rafters with bric-à-brac, knick knacks and stuff. There is a surprising collection of old books about Germany in the days of the Nazis and even a first edition of Ayn Rand’s The Fountainhead. What furniture there is isn’t terribly impressive but reasonably priced, and there’s lots of art that’s reasonable priced under $ 100.00. It’s one of those antique shops with lots of sellers so the quality is hit or miss. The items are not that much better than what you would find at a good flea market. If you have time to kill(which I did), it’s worth roaming around.

This small hometown antique store looks small from the rd, but step inside and it’s vast array of antiques go on for as far as the eye can see. It’s worth the stop, and priced very well. Store is kept up, and was very nicely cooled for this warm summer day.

This antique store is deceptively HUGE and has excellent prices. A very nice surprise for a suburbanite visiting Charleston. Since my visit, I am haunted by the stuff I should have bought!
