If I could rate this 0 stars, I would. This is the absolute worst place to stay. I made my reservation through
in a hurry and did not check reviews. As soon as I stepped into the motel lobby, I knew this was not the place to stay. The place was dirty had an old filthy 1980’s dot matrix printer on the counter and the key making machine looked like it had never been cleaned and all the numbers were worn off. When I opened the door to my room I saw cock roaches everywhere. Most of them did not even scatter when I turned the lights on. I counted 10 roaches on the wall and immediately went to the front desk. The clerk came to my room and shrugged his shoulders and said sorry, I can give you another room or give you some spray. I told him I was not staying here period. He said he could not give me a refund since I paid through
. The rest of the room was also horrible. The dresser was falling apart, the TV was on old tube type that looked like it came from the dump, the bathroom counter was broken and was pulled from the wall, the lights in the shower area were hanging down and full of rust. I requested non smoking and the rook wreaked of cigarette smoke. There wasn’t even a clock in the room. I called
customer service and told them everything. They apologized and offered to make reservations at another nearby hotel. I asked them about the reviews to the new hotel and they said that the latest review stated that the furniture was falling apart, it needs painting and that there was lots of mold in the room. I declined them helping me any further and told them I wanted a refund and I would fine my own place. I took pictures of the roaches on the wall and sent to
in an email stating that I wanted a refund and if I did not get one from them, I would dispute the charge on my credit card. I went down the road and for $ 10 more I stayed in a absolutely wonderful hotel.
called me the the next day and gave me a full refund and I told them they needed to take this motel off their list if they cared anything about their companies reputation. I also called Econo Lodge corporate office and told them they needed to shut this place down and bull doze it to the ground. This place would be the top candidate for hotel impossible show. I would not recommend my worse enemy staying here. Worst Nightmare ever.

Absolutely disgusting. I wasn’t expecting the Ritz, but this was so bad it was almost funny. Almost.
I literally have nothing positive to say. No working light in the bathroom. Missing bulbs elsewhere. A ½ inch gap under the door to the outside. Destroyed carpet. Dirty toilet. Stained tub. Pervasive mold smell. The whole room was dusty and dirty. Scared to touch anything.
Breakfast offerings consisted of stale cereal and prehistoric looking honey buns from the vending machine.
Again, I have nothing remotely good to say about my stay. I would have rather pitched a tent in the parking lot.

I gave this hotel two stars primarily because the room was clean and in good order. However, if you are in the hospitality business, some actual hospitality would be nice. The gentleman working the front desk sent everyone who wanted to check in to the outside window with a slide-​out tray – I felt like I was at a bank or something and it was difficult to talk through the closed window. So, rather than relaxing and being welcomed into a presumably air conditioned lobby, I stood outside in the hot sun straining to understand and be understood through a closed window.
Though clean, the room showed signs of neglect. There was a hole in the wall above the bathroom light fixture, a hole above the fan (which I moved the fan cover to cover) and the white tile in the shower/​toilet area has been painted tan with interior wall paint that has clearly peeled in places. Not surprising, considering the humidity in such places. Better choices for refurbishment (don’t paint ceramic tile!) and about an hour and $ 30 of materials would have showed that they actually cared about the place.
So expect a clean but run-​down room and not much else. You get what you pay for.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We stayed in September 2012. My fiancé accidentally booked a smoking room, so obviously upon arrival it smelled like an ashtray. He went to the front desk to ask to be switched, and he was told that there were no non-​smoking rooms available. In addition to it smelling like an ashtray, there was some severe water/​humidity issues as well. It stunk like mold and mildew. Under the sink, there was mold growing up the wall and all over the carpet.
