Terrible customer service from a consignment perspective. People seem on-edge and miserable working there. The auctioneer has a bad attitude. Even the slightest bit of questioning on an item or rationale for why they chose a strategy resulted in condemnation and backlash. Very uncomfortable. Unless you have thousands of dollars worth of stuff expect a cold-shoulder or at least minimal excitement to help you out. With this said, the Buy prices at auction can be pretty good.

Ed and Charlene Roumillat handled the sales of all my family’s «stuff» when my brother and sister-in-law passed away, almost simultaneously, early in 2015. Ed and Charlene were both, from the get-go, knowledgeable, imaginative, professional, and competent. I’d never seen them do their auction thing until this past Saturday. It was awesome! Most of the people there, with whom I spoke, were there not only for the great deals, but because Ed & Charlene run an auction with skill, professionalism, and humor. Items move, and move quickly — and that’s the whole point, which Ed made clear to me early on. If you want to noodle around and spend tons of time waiting for the highest possible penny for your goods, maybe this isn’t the right place for you. BUT, if you want to move your stuff along, this is the place. BTW, as a seller, I found their reporting of sales, and payment for same, to be complete, accurate, and prompt. Couldn’t have asked for better service, all around!

Mall is way over priced, The auction service is to be avoided ! I’ve been at this a long time, and this is one of the worst auction houses I’ve seen. The ‘auctioneer’ has no idea what he is doing, and has a bad attitude to boot. They sold 1 piece of a 140 yr old serving set one week, and then sold the other 3 pieces for next to nothing 2 weeks later ! Took them 3 auctions to sell my small lot, and several items are still unaccounted for. If you are considering an auction service, leave town ! This(unfortunately) is the only game in town. If there was another, Roumillat would be out of business.

loved the selection. did not love the overpricing. Nice for browsing but when you find that item you really need and are willing to pay a hefty markup for – and then it’s still $ 100 more than expected(for enamel cans, no marking), you know something is off.

What I like about this antique Mall is the furniture in the back. I guess one of these days I’ll find something that’s not already on layaway. I’m a fan of any antique mall that has layaway. I find this antique mall to be a little pricey.
