A downtown Charleston treasure. Giant slices of greasy, NY-style pizza in a dingy dive. They also serve a variety of tasty Italian comfort fare: eggplant parm, calzones, and a behemoth pepperoni roll to name a few. We love the woman behind the counter– if you’ve ever interacted with people running the register at places in larger cities, you’ll see that they don’t have a high tolerance level for bullshit and entitled folks. Sitting down here for a couple slices and a cold bottle of beer is one of my absolute favorite things to do in Charleston. And if you like retro arcade games, Graziano’s also has some rad cabinets in the back with classics like Samurai Showdown!

Refused to serve me a slice of pizza at 8:49 when they close at 9PM. Was passing through and was craving a slice of pizza. Complete waste of time! Parking takes a while to find, also.

Grazionos is the absolute BEST place to get pizza in Charleston. The Anti-Pasta and Sicilian salad are to die for! Pizza slices are good but a whole pizza is even better.

The lady at the cash register clearly does not want to be working at this place, at least at 7:30 p.m. on a Saturday night. She was oozing a bad attitude. Maybe she was having a bad day. She was in a hurry to get our order. Even though the place closes at 8 they act like they don’t want to put any orders in after 7:30. Then at precisely 8 p.m. She pulls this barrier blocking the dining room while people are still in there eating. I wanted to eat at this locally owned joint to support it but the lady needs some lessons in customer service. The two guys working there seemed to have an understanding of service. The salad was big and fresh. The pizza was okay but the crust a bit chewy as if the oven wasn’t quite hot enough. Atmosphere is a bit depressing.

If I’m ordering a pizza, this is my go-to place. I really love walking around downtown for art walk and stoping in for a few slices to take home afterwards. The dining room does close at 8:00 so be prepared to get your order to go. I also dislike the reviews about the woman here being rude. I’ve always found her to be straightforward but accommodating and easy to communicate with.

Love this place. Best pepperoni pizza in town. I hope they never close!!! The lady behind the counter is plenty nice if you are nice to her; and if a few seconds of interaction with an employee is enough to prevent you from eating really tasty food, you need to reevaluate some things in life & travel more.

Been going here since 1985. Can’t tell you about the other items because we only order the cheese pizza. My kids love going there because of the video games in the back. I do prefer getting it by-the-slice; the bottom is crispier.

Lady at the counter had a pissy attitude for us coming in at 7:00 and ordering two pizzas. We asked if it was inconvenient for us to sit in the dining room, and she said«Yeah, as long as you don’t bullshit around.» Subpar pizza is not worth this hassle.

Great Steak Sandwich! Locally owned, non-chain. All the different calzones and pepperoni rolls, etc. looked and smelled fantastic as well!

When I eat here, it takes me back to living in NYC and each corner has a pizza place just like this, where you can watch the pizza, being tossed and hand made. Nothing really can compare, Great Classic Pizza.

The food here is decent and the location is convenient for downtown dwellers like me, so I keep giving them chance after chance even though I am always disappointed. The big negative here is the woman that works the counter; she is surly and rude all of the time. Tonight’s visit will be my last. The hours on the door say that closing time is 9:00, but inside there is a sign that says that the dining area closes at 8:00. Walking in at 7:20, we figured we’d have no problem clearing out by 8:00, so we tried to order. The rude woman questioned our ability to finish before 8:00 and I told her that I felt that we would be ok. She then told us that our food would take 12 – 15 minutes and questioned again our ability to eat in only 12 minutes. She was clearly not interested in our business. Finally I said we’d just go elsewhere and she seemed happy with our decision. After leaving in disgust, we ended up at Slyce Pizza, which is just around the corner and has a similar menu, good quality and especially pleasant service. I am a forgiving and patient person and have given them multiple opportunities, but tonight’s story is typical of my experience every time I go there and I finally have had enough. It’s hard to imagine how Grazianos has survived for 30 years, but with this wretched person greeting customers I can’t imagine it being around much longer.

Just visited this evening. We walked in on a Saturday night around 5:30PM… It was dead. Only one table in the dining room and the pizza looked like it had been sitting on display for an hour. It took a few minutes to get somebody to help us. I ordered the tortellini… I was disappointed. It looked really good but he scooped it out and threw it in the microwave… Really? Microwave? It’s pasta! The sauce was kind of bland and it was just not anything to brag about. Very disappointed. We opted to order a fresh pizza and it was good. The only reason I’m giving three stars is because the pizza was authentic and not like the crappy chains. The people behind the counter were mostly nice. There was a lady that seemed like she was disgruntled but whatever. If your food is good you can afford to treat people poorly but when the food is wishy washy you need to keep that smile on your face! Would I return? Probably not. Was it good? Fresh pizza was good. Pasta was terrible. My two cents worth.

Delicious pizza. This place is your old school classic pizzeria. If you want great pizza without all the modern bullshit this is your spot. Huge portions, tons of toppings and other Italian eats. I would’ve given the place 5 stars but the service needs to be more friendly.

This scary little hole in the wall Italian place. I’ve never been too impressed with their food, but had to give them an extra star for sheer longevity

It’s a pretty typical pizza joint. My kids love the place. My daughter always gets spaghetti with one meatball(the meatball is as big as my fist.) My son always gets pepperoni pizza. Both are what you would expect for a little pizza shop downtown. I was happy to see the sicilian salad and eggplant parmigiana, so I got those. The salad was delicious! The eggplant was overly-salty and had too much cheese on top. After scraping off some cheese, it was OK, but still very salty. Still, the employees were super-friendly and helpful, giving my starving kids some bread to eat while they waited for their food(they were starving!) The food didn’t take long, either — it was all pre-cooked and just needed warming up, so I would recommend going during their busier time if you want fresher food.

Love New York style pizza by the slice. Much needed reprieve from the super cheesy chains.

Disgusting. The food was precooked and horrible. They warmed it up for like five minutes but it was still pretty chilly and the cheese was not at all melty. My friend and I both got different things. They were both terrible. We also got a bag of cheap, nasty, no-name, chips. I didn’t get a soda but my friend got one and he described it as mop water tasting. I will never eat here again. It was beyond horrible.

It is one of my favorite pizza joints in town. The people that work there have always been so very pleasant. They will chit chat with you while you wait for your pizza to come out of the oven piping hot! It is well worth

I thinks it’s the clean water… Thin crust, the dough is perfect. The missus’s has been coming here since the early 70’s.the sauce and the cheese fresh. A good as new York style pizza. They make their own pork sausage here and it’s awesome.
