The pizza was adequate for three hungry kids and two increasingly cranky parents, but that’s about it. The phone service was horrid, but the delivery guy seemed nice. Unfortunately, he also forgot one of our items. He delivered it promptly, and frankly, that’s the only reason this place gets three stars instead of two. In the interest of full disclosure, my hubs liked it fine and said it was«pretty okay». Either way, three stars is what this place warrants.

Thought I’d provide a little balance here. Just grading the pizza. Passable NY-style pizza. The sauce is a little too sweet for my taste and I was surprised when the girl taking my order stated they they don’t have Italian sausage. That being said, they do deliver and it was relatively quick. Not bad.

Oh, Husson’s, how I love thee! I’ll admit, I’m a little biased because I grew up on this stuff… but man oh man! I can’t visit my hometown without hitting up Husson’s pizza! It can be hit or miss if you don’t know how to order. And thus: PROTIP: order any pizza with extra sauce to get the right ratio. And only order what you’ll eat within about a 5 hour window. After that, the tabletop life isn’t very long. Not a pizza you wanna take to work the next day, but for the money(LARGESTLARGEINTOWN) it’s great when it’s hot and fresh!!! Even better when you have coupons, which EVERYONE does! The only downside to being enamored with Husson’s is that it’s a local thing, and I live a couple thousand miles away. For the TL;DR —- Someday I want to open a Husson’s franchise just so I have that wonderful pizza nearby! It’s that wonderful!
