Driving by, this shop looked adorable so we made a special visit around lunchtime. Doors locked when we arrived, but the lights were on and a sale rack sat outside the door, so they were bound to be open. A group of around 8 of us gathered, waiting… here comes the sales person from across the street with her carryout lunch. In we go to find cute collections of monogrammed items, jewelry and clothing. Prices were reasonable and the selection was good. Find a small collection of children’s items in the back corner of the store.
Here’s the issue: the customer service was pretty awful. Besides being absent when there’s a line of people outside the store, the sales person sat on her stool the entire time and offered no assistance or concern. A friend found a shirt on the «50% off rack» outside, but was then informed it wasn’t actually that discounted and, as the sales person said, «I need to change that sign.» Oh, okay. I asked about a carved monogram wall hanging and had to keep describing it over and over again… really she just could have leaned a little to the left on her bar stool to see it, but she didn’t bother. So weird. When I walked to the counter to discuss it, I really thought I’d be placing an order. After that 2 minute chat, I knew better.
My advice: don’t go in expecting much help and check actual prices.

Cute jewelry and clothes… very limited items though. They have adorable necklaces for little girls, did t have any of the letters we needed. Beautiful sundresses, very unique. Customer service was awful.

First I’ll say they do have a nice assortment of jewelry and specialty gift items. If you don’t mind poor customer service and general lack of knowledge by the sales staff then by all means continue shopping here. They also carry an assortment of items that can be monogrammed just don’t actually try to order any of these items. I ordered a bag to be monogrammed front and back in April. Went back the day I was told it would be ready and not only did they not have my order but they had no idea I had even placed an order. They do not return phone calls either. I ended up ordering the same bag for a better price and better customer service online.

Initiality is a cute little boutique that specializes in monogrammed items and southern classics. I found a necklace in my sorority’s letters and a purse here while we were visiting the area. The selection is somewhat limited, but they have a nice assortment and can put in special orders for you if you are local.
