This store is very cute, but very expensive. We spent so much money the girls gave us a discount which was nice. They also have allot of unique things we’ve never seen which made it fun.

Awesome selection of novelty goods and candy. This place is a chain, but people of all ages can enjoy it and the merch keeps things interesting! The prices aren’t worse than your average joke or gift shop.

This place is exactly what it is. It’s a touristy candy store with an eclectic mix of traditional candies and hilarious novelties. We got my mom 5lbs of extra large twisters since she loves twisters for 9.99 which isn’t bad for what you’re getting. My dad has a gag gifting at work every year and he scored here with extra sour liquid filled camel balls(gum) which had us laughing so hard. They have a lot of really fun gift items and souvenirs. The staff is very friendly and you can find any candy you want. It is what it is and I liked it!(Yeah and I’m a tourist)

It’Sugar is located right next to the market. They have a huge selection of candy to choose from. Gum balls, gummies, chocolate and more! Be warned, this place is quite expensive, about $ 15 a pound. But, they have all kinds of candy you can’t find at other places. I ended up getting a lot of gummy candy, and overall it tasted alright, but it is not the name brand gummy candy that I am used to. So, I am disappointed. And the price leaves more to be desired. Overall, good selection, but over priced, and average tasting candy.

This store is overpriced and terrible! Out of the 3 candy stores on N. Market St. I went in there looking for Jelly Belly jelly beans, I had heard it was a great place and had all sorts of candy! It had a good selection but overpriced, I know you have to pay the tourist price, but it still was an extra $ 1 more than the other 2 candy stores on Market. If you can’t find the candy you want at the other stores go here, but I do not recomend it!

I love being a kid in a candy store!(even though I’m 25) I love the selection and all the cute novelty items! The music is fun and makes you want to buy more candy! There are bins that separate candies like only banana runts, or beer flavored jelly belly. From chocolate, gummies, and even japanese treats, there is something for everyone! I will definitely be coming back for all my sugar needs!

This is a fun place to peruse when you are killing time or looking for a fun unique gift ! Reminds me of Spencer’s store devoted to candy. They have absolutely every type of candy bar you can think and in any size imaginable! I loved seeing all the retro candy from when I grew up like gobstoppers and nerds. If you’re into anything pop culture, you can probably find it here. They were hawking candy bars for the Catching Fire and Hunger games movies as well as for Duck Dynasty .Don’t expect bargain deals though. Everything was pricey for what it was. The inner cheapskate in me didn’t like that. But when you really want chocolate, does it even matter the cost? This is a complete tourist trap in the heart of Charleston. Enter at your own risk! :)

The only place that I can get Goldbergs chocolate. however… The music is so loud that I cannot hear my granddaughter speak to me. On several occasions I’ve asked why so loud… was told that the co. Requires it to be that loud !!! REALLY!!! I cannot believe that. If true, then the co needs to rethink it’s decision. I for one cannot shop there in comfort due to the loud music. There are many good things to see and buy… too bad ! FrankG

Kids loved the store but it is very expensive as far as candy is concerned. We did not have a good experience with staff b/c they would not honor a price that they had labeled an item with. We probably would not go back.

It’s Sugar is a fun place to visit when strolling down Market Street. If you’re looking for specialty candy, this is the place. They have all kinds of candy, but you pay Market Street prices for it(so if it’s a candy you can get at a grocery/convenience, just go there). We walked around for probably 20 minutes in the store just checking out all the cool stuff– it’s like sensory overload for kids though, and if you turn them lose in here with money, you might regret it when they can’t nap or calm down, hehe. Plus… if you’re looking for a party sized rice krispy treat or the world’s largest box of nerds… this is your place. It’s good for gag gifts and things like that you might want to take home to friends and family.
