Kangaroo Express

This is a decent convenience store and the staff is OK and it is conveniently located but the gas prices here are really high compared to places right around the corner so I usually don’t buy gas here

This is a pretty decent gas station, as far as gas stations go.
I like the location. There’s plenty of parking for those who just need the store and for those who just need to fill up. Isn’t it the worst when you visit those small gas stations and have no place to park while you wait for a free pump?
Inside the store is a little dingy, but nothing too different from what you’d normally expect from a gas station shop.
BP gas prices are always a pinch more expensive, but the fuel is high-​quality.

I’ve been to this Kangaroo Express/​BP a few times. First, the gas prices here are always a little pricey compared to other gas stations in the West Ashley area. You’re better off filling up somewhere else price wise, but if you just need a little gas or are loyal to BP, I guess it’s okay.
The store is nothing special either. The workers are decent but not overly nice, and several times, the coffee bar has been out of cappuccinos, coffees, syrups, etc.
I will say, I like that there’s a lot of parking in front of the gas station. That makes it convenient for those of us who aren’t getting gas but stop in for a snack. I don’t recommend trying to turn left coming out of the station onto Savannah Hwy, though!
