My first 5 star review! You can’t go wrong with King Street Cookies. Coffee, cookies, bagels, ice cream, they’ve got it all! I’ve had the french toast and cinnamon raisin bagels– you could tell they were fresh, so soft and tasty. I’ve had multiple ice cream trips and always leave fat and happy. They give extremely generous servings(you don’t need to get the 2-scoop) and it is very tasty. And of course, the cookies-amazing. They often have a tray of samples, I’d suggest trying them. I also spoke with who I assume is the owner or manager and he was very friendly. He suggested that I only need to order the 1 scoop of ice cream and let me slide on the $ 5 minimum for card purchases. Great place, will definitely go when my sweet tooth kicks in.

Stumbled upon this shop while staying across the street at Francis Marion. HUGE selection of cookies and really cute shop. Cookies were delicious. My favorite was the peanut butter one with Reese’s pieces and also the S’mores. I liked them so much that I stopped back in later that day to pick up a dozen for a business meeting I was attending. Will definitely stop here again next time I’m in Charleston. Strawberry Shortcake cookie was also delish.

Cookie was ok but, the counter-girl decided to give my little boy the oldest and least appealing M&M cookie she could find. I guess she figured he wouldn’t know the difference; but I did. The coffee is a bad Starbucks knockoff(Starbucks is bad enough as it is: true coffee drinkers do not drink coffee from a burnt bean.) I’m sure these places do well in Charleston seeing it is a lot of college kids who have been brainwashed by superb marketing. Wake-up and smell the true coffee! No need to repeat this visit.

Among the best cookie shops I have ever seen. Almost every type of cookie imaginable! Blows Mrs. Fields away… A must stop while in Charleston.

Service wasn’t great. Did not feel welcome when entering the building. The cookies looked as if they were left in the oven to longer. I purchased three different types of cookies and out of three I only enjoyed one. I would not return to this place!

I think the spicy hot chocolate might be the best cookie I have ever tasted! I still have a whole box of other flavors to try though so that opinion might change! ;) Friendly service too, will definitely stop by next time we are in the area. I wonder if they ship…

This was a spontaneous visit but happy we finally stopped in. Their selection is very impressive. Ranging from your traditional peanut butter cookie to something called the George Washington’s Revenge cookie with chocolate chunks, toffee and tart cherries in a chewy oatmeal cookie, wow! I only had a chance to sample their orange creamsicle and their toffee crunch, both delicious. But I chose the apple delight all for myself. An oatmeal cookie with chunks of dried apple, cinnamon, and caramel. Super crispy yet soft and chewy, the perfect homemade cookie. We also grabbed a coffee but I loved the idea of a glass of milk for like 75 cents with a cookie. They even make bagels and offer gluten free options, a little something for everyone!

This is a must try when visiting downtown Charleston. Near Marion square so you can’t miss it! The Georgia peach cookie is my absolute favorite. They offer well over 20 types of cookies daily so I’m sure you will find something you like. Great coffee too! They use a local roast.

Basically $ 2/cookie. Expensive, but the product is outstanding. The mint chocolate wasn’t as amazing as I expected, but certainly not bad. My favorite was the one… forgot the name, but it had cranberries and chocolate and something else in it. Creative combinations. Would love to try them all. AND they also have ice cream, but that’s their ugly older sister compared to the cookies! Great selection. I got 3 cookies, and they threw in a free bottled water for me.

My biggest problem with this place is I had wayyyy too many flavors to pick from! Good problem to have, huh? Came in as a group of friends, ordered a bunch after witty banter with the one employee. The rabbi, mint chocolate cookie with mint m&m’s, salted caramel, turtle chip, spicy hot chocolate, snickerdoodle and a couple more. The perfect combination of chewy and crispy. Israeli iced coffee was fantastic. I could have easily eaten 5 by myself. I didn’t tell my kids about this place because they would have made me order some to ship home. My biggest regret in life was not making a second trip here before leaving South Carolina.

Nice selection of cookies, everything looked so good. I had the oatmeal raisin cookie and it did not disappoint. The cookie had a good amount of raisins and hearty oats. Recommended for a sweet fix.

Eating my way through Charleston — Part 7 After Xiao Bao Biscuit we walked a couple blocks to WildFlour Pastry to pick up a couple sticky buns… but they were closed(story of my life). So we decided to check them out on our way out of town and made our way over to the Macaroon Boutique… but they were also closed(insert sad music). Im not the type to give up easily so I kept walking and came across a pretty new dessert spot called King Street Cookies. We popped our heads in to see what they had on hand and once I saw the«Milk Bar» I knew I was in the right place. King Street Cookies has three dozen cookie flavors, coffee, and sweet treats to put a smile on your face any day. We got the George Washington’s Revenge and the Apple Delight cookies, drowned them in milk, devoured every last crumb, and started our journey to the last restaurant on our list for the day. This is worth checking out if you’re a feeling like you need a sweet treat after a day of exhausting shopping up and down King st :)

Having a gourmet cookie bakery right here in Charleston is awesome. They offer a tremendous array of cookie choices so it seems like there’s something for everyone. As there are a few bakeries around here who solely specialize in cupcakes or just chocolates, it’s fantastic that cookieholics like me can finally have a place to call our own. Of couse, the experience is made even better with a cup of milk although the cookies definitely stand on their own just fine.

It was my first night in Charleston and when I walked past King Street Cookies the huge orange chairs in the window and their clever sign on the sidewalk caught my attention. This place was so awesome, I had to visit it twice! The first thing I noticed right away upon entering was their huge selection and different varieties of all their unique cookies. From the standard chocolate chip to a spicy hot chocolate cookie, one could find almost anything. I tried 4 different cookies — spicy hot chocolate, snicker doodle, salted caramel, and chocolate chip. Even though there is a huge variety of cookies, one thing remained constant, every cookie was soft in the center and crispy on the edges. A perfectly cooked cookie. The staff behind the counter were knowledgable in the different flavors. On the second day I was sold on the chocolate chip because the girl said it is underrated and people get distracted by all the fancy flavors. And she was right! The chocolate chip cookie was delicious. She also said if I got a third cookie I could have a free cup for unlimited milk. Sold! If you like cookies and need a sweet cookie fix this place is a definite must!

What an awesome addition to King Street! Right next to the Calhoun intersection, perfect for a quick lunch dessert. KSC has SO many great cookie flavors – anything from spicy to chocolatey to sour. Menu Highlights: — Milk on tap! — Gluten Free options! — Pink Lemonade cookie! — Pecan Prailine(a Southern classic) — «Maui» cookie(pineapple and coconut) There’s also a pretty decent special where you can get 6 cookies, plus one free for about $ 12. Perfect for heading home to surprise your fam or heading back to the office to surprise your favorite coworkers :) Inside, there’s a small place to sit and chat while you nibble on cookie goodness, but for the most part, it’s best to take your cookies to go.

Visiting Charleston for the weekend and happened upon this place walking back from dinner. Popped in to find an enormous selection of obviously homemade cookies. We were intrigued by the stuffed cookies(choc chip with Oreo inside) to take home to our kids. We ended up getting an assortment of cookies. We sampled a few on the way back to our hotel and were really impressed. No after taste, just yummy cookies. Loved the«milk bar» for those enjoying their cookies there. Love the concept. For those who care, it’s kosher too.

I’ve only stopped in once. It was about what I expected. Decent cookies and a milk dispenser. Definitely a cool place to stop in if you’re on King.

When I walked in this store I was so excited about seeing an enormous row of cookies I basically ran to the counter. However, I didn’t get a good vibe, as the man at the counter did not greet us nor interact with us whatsoever. When he did communicate, I could barely hear him. It was quite uncomfortable. The cookies on the other hand are absolutely delicious! The prices were a little bit steep, so I only purchased three. However, with the purchase of three, you got a free drink which was awesome! I got a chocolate salted caramel, turtle chip, and peanut butter chip. All three of them were absolutely delicious, but the chocolate salted caramel was seriously out of this world! I could definitely eat those frequently, so it’s probably best I’m only visiting! I thought it was so cool they deliver to the campus too!

OMGTHESECOOKIES. I am a cookie lover and found these cookies to be THEBEST. They are a bit expensive for the size that they are, but I will gladly pay what they ask. They have quite the variety and anything you are in the mood for– they will have. Their oatmeal cookies are amazing. The maui cookies are my favorite. The storefront is small, but doesn’t really need to be anything extravagant. They have the bar of cookies, their drink cooler, gelato(or ice cream? I was not quite sure), coffee & frozen drinks. They have a few tables and two large chairs facing the window so you can see the foot traffic. It was very clean! If you are downtown, def stop by for some cookies!
