Lowe’s

This I my first negative post. I have been shopping at this Lowe’s for a number of years and I cannot even quantify the amount of money I have spent there. Customer service has been great at times and spotty at others. I went to Lowe’s the other day to buy a refrigerator and I waited, at minimum, 30 minutes before I was even addressed. Unfortunately for Lowe’s I ended up buying the fridge from HD for the same price. I will still go to this Lowe’s for the convenience, but my major purchases will be done elsewhere.

Went to this Lowes to purchase 4 – 5 appliances. Spent 30 minutes walking around looking, was not approached by any employee. Got a tape measure ourselves and even used the phone to page our own customer assistance. Asked employee passing by for help and they paged for help. Nothing. Finally found manager who was anything but managerial. Finally left to purchase my appliances elsewhere. This store needs customer service training.

I guess I’m just a Lowes girl. I really like this store and their garden center. The staff was very helpful and the prices weren’t too bad either.

Really like this Lowes. Convenient, i know many of the staff plus I know where things are located! Bought my new shower, toilet, and bath sink from here. Good prices and the staff was very helpful. We also get alot of our garden items here. Flowers, mulch, etc. Good prices on them as well. It was a blessing when James Island got this lowes. This also is one fun place just to browse and see what new stuff they have!

As far as Lowe’s goes this is a really good one. They have a good staff good garden center in the bathrooms are always clean enough. They recently just repave the parking lot too so it’s nice. They have a really good commercial staff as well and very helpful at the commercial desk.

Why is there just one person working in kitchen cabinets on the weekend? Just my opinion, but it may be smart to have more people working on weekends when people are off and looking to take on projects. I just wanted four special order laundry room cabinets, had my sizes etc.

Horrible.
Purchased a washing machine for $ 800+ in 2013, with a warranty. Less than a year and it’s already broken. Called Lowe’s & they said they’d send someone out to fix it. Tech came to fix the washer Thursday, then tried to do a load of laundry after the tech left & the washer still does not work. Called Lowe’s back, & they said they would have a tech to come back to fix the washer Next Tuesday…
Today is Tuesday so we have been sitting here waiting on the tech, and it is a pretty BIG time frame they gave us: 8am-​5pm, so pretty much all day. Around 2:30, 3:00 we still haven’t heard from Lowe’s or a tech so we call Lowe’s to confirm that the tech is still coming today… We are told YES from Lowe’s that a tech should be here before 5pm, and the tech will give us a phone call 30 minutes prior to their arrival and to be patient. Being not so patient, about 30 minutes later we call the appliance repair company Lowe’s sends out to fix the washer directly to see if they may have some idea of what time to expect their arrival… The appliance repair company politely informs us that they have not been contacted by Lowe’s to come fix our washer and would not be coming out today. We have been sitting here all day for nothing.
So we call Lowe’s to inquire on this information we’ve just received from the repair company and the lady at Lowe’s tells us that she’s not sure why they would say that, that it says on her computer that they should be there today between 8am and 5pm. The lady on the telephone at Lowe’s asks us if we can hold while she calls the repair company, and of course we say yes… Less than 5 minutes later the lady from Lowe’s comes back on the line and tells us we were NEVER scheduled for an appointment today, & that they came out and fixed it on Thursday. This is the same lady that JUST told us we had an appointment today. During the SAME phone call… Are you serious?
So, of course, we request to speak to her supervisor.
The supervisor, «Samantha», was condescending and rude, and we got nowhere. Samantha refused to give her job title, last name, supervisors name or contact info. When we informed her we were disappointed in the customer service and that it has been an extreme inconvenience to be sitting here ALL DAY and that they were loosing a customer her response was «that’s fine with me». Wow.
We called Lowes twice today to confirm we even had an appointment.
So we’ve been sitting here from 8 – 5 because of Lowe’s lack of communication, and they aren’t even owning up to their mistake. An apology would be nice.
Hopefully they’ll actually COME to fix it… The closest appointment I could get is 3 days from now, from 8am-​5pm.
From now on I will make sure to go to a Home Depot! Lowe’s has just lost another customer.

The service is great here the staff knows their departments and if they can’t help you they find someone who can!

I’m not going to lie, I am a Home Depot fan but this Lowe’s is awesome! The staff that work here are super friendly and helpful! These stores are always really hard to navigate if you do not frequent them often and a helpful hand is just what you need. I would highly recommend this store to anybody who needs some home improvement items!

Pretty typical Lowe’s that offers about the same items, laid out about the same, and offers the same services as other Lowe’s.
The one thing we have found that sets this Lowe’s apart is the service at this store is a lot better than other Lowe’s we have visited. The people that work here are super friendly and are great at offering recommendations on what products to get; and if they don’t have them or know some place that might have the same product cheaper they are happy to let you know.

I’ve been here a few times already and the employees have always been pretty helpful. The layout of the store is pretty typical of a Lowe’s store and is kept up pretty clean and organized.
My daughter even claims this store to be one of her favorites now (it’s up there with Target and the Hello Kitty stores. lol.)
