I loved visiting Palmetto Vision Care. The staff is friendly and professional, and Dr. Morabito makes you feel like a valued patient. All of my transactions were handled quickly, effectively, and efficiently, and I got the best deal I’ve ever had on contacts. I will definitely visit here again, and I will recommend it to all my friends!

I wish I could give these incompetent staff members a 0. I called and asked if they were in network for my insurance, was told yes they are. So I scheduled my appointment and day of drove 45 minutes to their office because I’m expecting this awesome service everyone is raving about. I get there and start filling out their paperwork and all the sudden oh no! «I’m sorry ma’am, we don’t accept this insurance.» ARE YOU KIDDING ME? How do you even have a job at a doctors office if you don’t know what insurance you take? This doctor might be awesome-​I wouldn’t know because I left– but he needs a smarter group working at the front desk.

I didn’t know eye care could be this amazing, informative and fun. It was like watching a Real 3D Imax experience for a Disney movie for eye care.
First, the technology was futuristic and awesome. They used this laser technology that appeared at first like an old Atari game and then showed me 3D images of my optic nerve and retina like I have never seen before. I saw actual layers of tissue on the screen. It was like being a little boy and seeing the NASA space station for the first time.
The staff was incredibly attentive and answered all my questions. Let me tell you, I asked a lot.
They did a comprehensive exam, tested me with contacts and scheduled a follow up before they placed my full year order. As I looked at glasses, they were patient and receptive to my time consuming need to try on almost ever pair in the office.
The process was near perfection.
1. From the moment I walked in, we were laughing and feeling like a family. They even sent me a birthday email and I hadn’t even had my first appointment ever there.
2. The step by step process of measuring my eyes, vision and optic review was so thorough.
3. The doctor was welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. He started off by saying there is no right or wrong. We will make sure we get it right for you.
4. After I tried on new contacts, he had me sit until they settled in and then did another set of tests. Then he wants me to use them for a week before making a full order.
5. I didn’t purchase glasses but all my measurements and costs were already determined during my visit so I can call and purchase anytime I want.
6. No shot of air into my eye, but a penetrating sea of lights that mesmerized.
Overall, what a great experience.

This is a very progressive practice, using the most up-​to-​date testing equipment. Very friendly and knowledgable staff.
