Great place to have an event. I went to Bacon & Bourbon last night. Facilities were nice and restrooms were clean.

This was my first experience here, and I came for the first ever Holy City Comic Con adventure. I was impressed with the organization of this event, having never been to one locally before, and found the facility to be top notch. Parking was limited, so expect to walk a bit, and bring change for the meters as I now owe the city $ 14 because I overstayed my welcome at the event(worth it). Restrooms are clean and easily accessible downstairs, which is always good to know when going to a busy event at a new venue. To pee, or not to pee, that is the question which has to be answered. Looking forward to the next event at the auditorium.

I’ve been to a handful of events at Memminger and the thing I like most about it is how adaptable the space is. The can go from warehouse space, to theater seating, to rock concert and everything in-between. The have a massive indoor space that can be set up in countless ways, a smaller outdoor patio, and plenty of bathrooms to accommodate guests. From an event planning standpoint, they offer so much more than many can on the peninsula in terms of capacity and versatility.

Great venue space and wonderful staff! I will certainly be looking into more shows at this location! Seats are older and a bit uncomfortable, but they are a-okay for the 2 – 3 hour shows they put on. The space is quite large, but never feels crowded. The seats are spaced apart enough to stretch out your legs without bothering anyone.

I’ve seen quite a few shows in Memminger. The auditorium is located in the heart of downtown Charleston. What sets it apart is that there is not a resident elevated stage which allows the space to lend itself to many types of performances. I’ve seen dance, physical theater, arial performances, and opera here & every time I’m in attendance the auditorium looks unique to its use.
