This is where I get my bread. Go early, nice and crispy, with a great taste. I think they also supply other places in the area. Bakery products are also tasty. Great location for anyone shopping the area. Sometimes I walk out eating from my French bread before I get in my car. It’s that good. Yea, I know, your thinking, but who says bread has to be eaten with a meal? To me it’s a treat no matter when you eat it. Frank G

I adore this place! As an original Charlestonian, I hope it stays so local. Happy & friendly staff — excellent breakfast.

Special ordered a carrot cake for my birthday. The owner was so nice, he made it happen with only 24hrs notice. The cake was the BEST carrot cake I’ve had. Moist, dense, three layers with delicious cream cheese frosting. The nuts were on the outside(bottom half) and were slightly salted. Soo good!

my last 2 experiences have both been weird. Wanted 3 Croissants at 5pm yesterday. Closed sign was up but did go inside. I am sorry but after ordering the 3 the girl behind the counter told me $ 9. I just did not take the bag and said sorry, that was just too much for me. Maybe I am way off here. Now they are day old croissants. I think she said she would do $ 2 a piece as I left but I the first amount was so high I just sort of stepped back in shock and left. Bet they end up in a dumpster now. This place does so well with their delivery and stuff but I have just found that they are not as good for a quick snack as they used to be. The staff have a small language barrier that both this time and the time before when I wanted a Cappuccino was a little uncomfortable. Paid too much for the Cappucino and seemed like she did not know what the cost of it was. Think it ended up just being a big tip. So with the croissant thing last night I just decided to get the heck out of there and buy some bagels on the way home somewhere else since croissants were too hard to find.

Fresh breads, salads, freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee and more. My favorite part is the price. Very affordable compared to other gourmet places.

Great little coffee shop and very good sandwiches with great prices, especially for Broad Street! The Italian Panini is my go-to!

Terrible!!! Banana cupcake, stale, cold as was the pb frosting. Did not taste banana at all as it was served so cold. Coffee was good but not hot.

This place smells amazing! Great sandwiches and coffee. I wish I could get better phone service and I never have a great experience with the internet. Also, the bathroom is in a precarious place so I would not suggest going with your computer ready to hangout. Great place to meet a friend and enjoy the amazing aromas.

Good for a dessert or quick lunch. They used to make their sandwiches fresh(I think) and now they’re all pre-made in a deli case. Still solid, tasty, fast. Nice variety.

See my tip for more. Cheap casual breakfast items. Good. Comfortable. That sums it up.

Awesome spot to pick up a pre made sandwich when you are on the run. Also an awesome spot to pick up locally made bread including bagels! I’m not a sweets person but there were a ton of different baked goods like coconut macaroons and blondies. I got the BLT, it was surprisingly delicious. I got it toasted and it looks like it was going to be a little mushy but it was a solid sandwich. Boyfriend got the roast beef. Mine was better hahaha. Had an everything bagel for breakfast and it was delicious. Thanks y’all!

Great sandwiches but with no a/c or very little it is hard to sit in there during hot days. Great pastries too. Friendly service and tables outside to sit at. Also pet friendly. Great little place for lunch

Stopped in for a breakfast sandwich and it was good but not made fresh when I ordered. Taste was good so if your in a hurry then it would be a good stop.

Nice coffee spot while walking a round down town. Drinks were good, about the same cost as a star bucks coffee but with a home grown feel. Not much to say about the food as we didn’t have a ny, but the service was good. Waitress shared with us that she liked social restaurant for dinner, and low and behold we went and had one of our best meals!

Great bakery in West Ashley! Like someone said, once they are out… they are OUT. So, get their early for best choices. Hubs and I buy their bread at the local farmer’s market or in their store and we love it. Great for making French Toast for morning breakfasts or on sandwiches. We’ve had some lunch sandwiches there too, pretty good. This morning, my run club ran on the Greenway and stopped by NF for breakfast. Most everyone got cute little sandwiches/biscuits with bacon, egg, and cheese on pretzel bread and a coffee. Only $ 3. You really can’t beat that for a breakfast!

This is just for the batard — crisp outside and pillowy inside just what we needed to go with our haul from goat.sheep.cow and only 1.25 $

During our dinner at Fig We tasted a delicious bread very similar with a bread from Alentejo, Portugal(Europe). So we decided to buy more of this magnific bread. Are you curious about it? It’s farm bread. They don’t have a slice machine but the staff was very helpful and cut it for us. If you want to try the original recipe you should go to Alentejo, it’s a gorgeous area with amazing food.
