Horrible experience! Ordered a pizza and it never showed up apparently this is an ongoing issue at this location. They didn’t bother to call and notify they were not delivering it they simply didn’t show up and closed for the night!

Would you like to be more frustrated and angry in life? Do you suffer from chronically low blood pressure? If any of these things is true then you should order from this pizza hut. If time is truly money, then this pizza hut is a den of thieves. Here is a basic summery of the events that took place: –I ordered a Pizza online at 2:59 on a Sunday afternoon –It was supposed to be delivered at 3:30 –At 3:40 I get a call from the delivery guy saying he couldn’t find my house, I explain to him how to find it. This is 2015 an era of cellphones with internet and google maps. This driver needs verbal instructions to find a place a few blocks from the store. I suspect this was just a lame excuse. –At 4 o’clock he calls again, I give him further instructions. I suspect this was more trying to buy time by pretending not to know where basic streets are downtown. –At 4:30 I call the store to speak to the manager. The phone rings for 5 minutes then disconnects on me. I find this odd, I then call back right away, the phone rings for a few more minutes and then someone answers and immediately puts me on hold. I am now getting very annoyed as I know that they are doing this just to get me so frustrated that I will hang up. I am on hold for an additional 3 minutes. When I finally talk to the manager and express how unhappy I am with the service and how much of my time they have wasted, she tells me I «need to come right by her» and then starts yelling over me at how my tone is «disrespectful» Of course my tone is disrespectful, you are blatantly disrespecting your customers by literally not delivering and wasting their time, you then disrespect them by hiding from phone calls, and you finally ultimately disrespect your customers by acting like your customers need to apologize to you for being annoyed by your atrocious customer service. This«night manager» made it seem like you need to bow before her majesty in supplication just hoping that she may do the job she is paid to do. As I explained to her I did not want the pizza anymore and would not pay for it, she hung up on me. –At 4:48 the pizza finally arrives at my house. I refuse to pay for this pizza and do not accept it. To make things easier I calmly explain to the driver the manger was rude and the pizza was almost 2 hours after I ordered it and I no longer wanted or would pay for it. He seemed to understand this. I took the receipt and in large letters wrote«NOCHARGE» and gave it back to the driver, I also refused the pizza. –Today I check my credit card statement and find that they charged me. I contact my credit card company and report them for fraud. I get my money back and I hope everyone at this store loses their jobs. A late pizza is one thing, but lying, dishonesty, credit card fraud, and disrespect are another. Between time wasted waiting on pizza, contacting pizza hut corporate, my credit card company, leaving reviews and being on hold, this pizza hut has wasted probably 4 hours of my life. Hopefully this review can save you some of your own time. If you get a bad craving for delicious pizza hut thin crust go to one of the other locations like Mt Pleasant. If you want good local pizza there are plenty of other great spots downtown.

I realize it’s just Pizza Hut and not to expect much, but my experience was so poor I feel the need to share. I was visiting for a wedding and staying at the Charleston Marriott. At around midnight I called for delivery and by 1am nothing had arrived. I called twice to check on the status of my order and was placed on hold and hung up on. I eventually gave up and went to bed. The next morning I checked to see if they charged by credit card, and they did. The next day around 4pm I called explaining that I needed a refund because my card had been charged when the pizza never came. I was placed on hold for ten minutes. I hung up and tried again and was immediately put on hold — they didn’t even say hi, just«Pizza Hut, hold.» I proceeded to wait ten more minutes. I hung up, called a third time, and the person could tell I was upset so they said they were putting their supervisor on. So I wait a couple minutes and it goes to a busy signal! I call a fourth time, pretty annoyed at that point, and I’m told I will speak to a supervisor again. Someone actually picked up the phone and I explained that I wanted a refund. She said she can’t see the transaction but offers me a gift card. I say NO, I want my money back. And she goes off on me telling me to «rephrase that» and I ask rephrase what? I want my money back. And she says«well if you speak to me like a human being MAYBE I can go out of my way for a refund.» So I go wait — are you saying that you can refund me? Again she says«well I can go out of my way and ask.» I am put on hold again and she comes back with an answer. Supposedly the transaction was voided. I’m going to check with my bank in a couple days to make sure that it actually was. I’m not sure how doing her job is going out of her way. I had to go out of my way and spend half an hour of my life trying to get this sorted out, and they never even apologized for their mistake in the first place. I had a right to be upset, and she did not have a right to speak to me like that. Don’t waste your time trying to order from this location, even if it’s late night after a wedding and you are desperate.

Needs to be a zero star for this one called and wanted delivered to our hotel they didn’t know where our hotel was(which is only 2 or 3 blocks up the road) then they said it would be a hour which is ridiculous

I wish there was a zero star button, don’t order if your hungry, because it might never show… the hotel cut off deliverys at 12 and I ordered at 9:30, that’s a fair amount of time

I rate this Pizza Hut a zero. First off, after placing my order online it showed it would take 2 hours and 25 mins for delivery. After seeing this I called because I was sure this had to be a mistake, but unfortunately this was not a mistake. I was told I would have to wait that long because there was only two drivers unless I came and picked it up. Luckily I was staying at a hotel a couple blocks away so I could go pick up. When I did pick up, a delivery guy was upfront and told the personnel in the back that there was a customer up front. I waited and still no one came up. When the delivery guy was headed out the door he had to yell at them again. When I did get my food it was burnt. I ordered thin and crispy, not thin and charred. I will not order from here again and do not recommend it to anyone else.
