I only had a few moments to stop here for lunch, so I grabbed a half sized Italian sub with the usual toppings. Meats and cheeses were sliced fresh in front of me, which is nice to know that it wasn’t sitting around all day losing its fresh goodness. My only complaint is that shredded lettuce was put on by the handful, and hardly anything else could be tasted with all the vegetation in my mouth. I’ll give them another go-around, but I’ll be sure to ask them to minimize the lettuce.

I have to update my review for Sub Station II because it’s quickly become my favorite sandwich place in West Ashley. I guess the secret’s out because the restaurant was super packed today.
Since my last review, I’ve been back many times, and the restaurant has added soups for the colder days/winter. Today they had a tomato basil soup on the menu (it was vegetarian). They also have Diet Mt. Dew in the fountain drink machine– score!
The employees are super nice here and so welcoming. Skip the big sandwich chains and try Sub Station II.

A great sub shop with nice staff. Always enjoy eating lunch here, I love their fresh made sub sandwiches. There are many menu options and a daily special. Ask for your sandwich all the way! Nice to have a staff that talks to their customers too.

My favorite sub shop. Delicious and cheap. The meat is good and the vegetables seen fresh. This is my family’s go to cheap weekend meal.
Definitely the best sub I know of in west ashley.

Pretty good as far as subs go. The people there were friendly and it was my first time there.
I only wished that they told me about the special of the day since someone was standing in front of the sign I never saw it until I had sat down.
The last time I had been in a Sub Station II it had been some years ago on Dorchester. I really missed that place. This place was nothing like it.
I love having a sub sandwich. The bread was dry and the whole sandwich just needed some extra kick to get me to go back.
