Charleston Angler has a great selection of fishing gear. The staff was very friendly. Their prices are a wee bit high for budget.

In my never-​ending search for a hat (losing all the hair I have, my head tends to get burned), I ended up at the Charleston Angler. I’m not a fisherman, so I can’t really speak to that side of the business. A shame, really, as they have a good selection — or so it seems.
But they also have a good selection of hats. Not too many of the sort I wanted, and also not too many for the big-​headed sort like myself. But they were very helpful, and also sent me over to Phillips Shoes, where I also couldn’t find what I wanted. Definitely helpful and friendly, however. Big thumbs up.
