A new addition to James Island, Twizt is super-pricey, but hasn’t quite transcended its strip mall roots(despite trying a little too hard). The room is divided by hanging white curtains, suspended by fake columns. The design does create more privacy, but feels cramped. The dinner menu was vehemently anti-vegetarian. All soups included chicken stock, my salad had to be adjusted. I ate my share of bread, which I can recommend. I also liked the«cutting board» concept. But I pity the servers; balancing small flat boards, each with food piled to the edge, can’t be fun on busy nights. Probably the fanciest meal on James Island, for what its worth.
