Bunkerhill Laundromat

I’ve been going here for years. They have their ups and downs as it is run by family owned business. The father ran it for 20yrs. until his unfortunate passing. It is now being held down by the spouse and sons. It is looking up as they have renewed the place and update most of the machinery. The place is clean and they have WORKING MACHINES that Do Not take forever to dry unlike other places. I like the fact that they always have an attendant there all times to help if we have any concerns with how to wash certain types of clothes or to make machines available if needed. I like the Son’s, they are always so happy and friendly. Another thing, they have Wash, Dry and Fold laundry service as I have used for those long days at work.

The people that run this place are ridiculous. They blame you for their broken machines and refuse to refund you when their machines do not work appropriately. They place these little sticky notes on the machine while you are away that say «its out of service» and blame you for not noticing it. Totally shady. In addition, they have these two gross little dogs that follow you around while you do your laundry. I will def not be going to a laundromat again.

I have been going to this laundromat for a couple of years now without a problem. I went in recently and saw a kid that works there sitting in a laundry cart clipping his toenails. It was disgusting. I left without saying anything, assuming the clippings on the ground would be gone when I came back. They were still on the floor when I came back to switch my laundry to the dryer. I decided to say something to another guy that works there (owner?). I showed him where the clipping were and he just said OK. I left and again assumed they would be gone when I came back to get my clothes from the dryer. The toenail clippings were still on the floor! GROSS! I finally went up to the owner and said that the clippings were still there, and that it was not OK, and that it was dirty. He just kept saying, «It’s OK, it’s OK.» I again said that I thought it was disgusting, and he said that it was OK and that they would clean it up at the end of the night. I told him I would not be back.
I suggest finding another laundromat. This business clearly doesn’t have standards for cleanliness, nor do it’s owners care about customer complaints. I will never go back there again.
